The Good: Lillard is viewed as the best point guard prospect in this draft. He’s a dangerous shooter from mid-range or well beyond the arc. He already has pro range on his jumper and is a very good shooter off the dribble. He’s able to get into the paint at will and is a crafty finisher inside. He uses his strong frame well to absorb contact around the rim. Lillard has a good handle, and has no problems creating shots for himself or his teammates. He’s a decent passer, but primarily looks for his own shot. He has very quick hands and likes to pick his opponent’s pocket. He’s a solid rebounder for a guard; he was able to grab 5 boards a game during his senior season.
The Bad: Only a decent on ball defender.
The Ugly: There are questions on how his game will translate due to playing against inferior competition in the Big Sky conference for four seasons.
