The Good: Freak athlete that can spot up on the wing or finish athletically at the rim. Ross has a smooth shooting stroke with decent range. He has the quickness to blow by opposing wings trying to keep him out of the lane. His length and ball instincts make him a great rebounder for a guard. He’s a capable help defender, proven through passing lane deflections and weak-side shot blocks. He has a very high ceiling because of his combination of athleticism and ability to make shots.
The Bad: Needs to get stronger so he can become a more consistent finisher around the rim and get to the free throw line more often. Ross is a decent wing defender, but sometimes gets lost on rotations.
The Ugly: He’s a gunner with no conscience, won’t get too many assists.
