Austin Rivers 20 SG/PG 6'4 200 Duke B- C+ C+ C+ C- B The Good: Rivers can play either guard spot and has the size to effectively guard 2s. He’s a decent jump shooter and has no problems creating his own shot. He has good quickness and can get to the rim with ease. He was able to get to the free throw line at a high rate during his lone season at Duke. The Bad: Rivers has a good shooting stroke, but is inconsistent from the outside. Heeds to improve his free throw shooting, only shot 65.8% from the line last season. Rivers has the ability to be a good perimeter defender; he just needs to play with more effort on that end of the floor. The Ugly: Sometimes gets sloppy with his ball handling, which leads to turnover issues.
