The Good: Harkless is a silky smooth athlete that excels in transition. He has a quick first step and comfortable handle when attacking the rim. He’s strong enough to finish inside through contact. Defensively, he’s a good on ball defender. He reads passing lanes extremely well, and frequently gets tips, deflections or blocks playing off the ball. His length and athleticism make him a plus rebounder.
The Bad: Has a decent shooting stroke, but struggles as a jump shooter. Does most of his scoring inside 15 feet. Will need a lot of work to develop three point range.
The Ugly: Struggles to create offense for himself, especially on the perimeter. He may end up just a defensive specialist.
