Good afternoon and happy weekend sim GMs!
We at the Report have asked some of your favorite GMs to help us objectively rank once and for all the winners and losers from this last year's draft. All complaints should be directed to Dumptime, who has been volunteered to handle public relations and customer service for the Report.
We compiled raw scores (1-100) given by GMs to each of the teams that made draft selections, averaged those scores, and curved the scores using the most sophisticated proprietary software you've ever seen.
Thanks to 20s, SPL, GBG, Fason, and Majic for their participation in this roundtable.
Without further ado, we bring you this year's crowd-sourced and unimpeachably objective draft grades!

1. Who was the biggest reach in the draft and why?
Tyson Chandler, GBG already had two D/R bigs that he took in the lotto the previous two drafts. And with how easy it's been to find those shot blocking bigs at the end of the first or even in the second round, I think it's a waste to use a lottery pick on that type of player.
Mehmet Okur was a reach by the lakers at the end of the lottery. He was a player firmly in my do not even consider to draft list. I do not think he is going to be an efficent scorer or play defense well.
Mehmet Okur - I don't like bigs who are better on offense than on defense, and Okur hasn't even been scoring efficiently. I just don't think Okur should have snuck into the lotto.
While I don’t think that Jason Richardson was a reach at 2, it appears to have been the wrong move. I would say that Tyson Chandler looked like the biggest reach. Good rebounding and defensive big but offers little else. Some good players came off the board after him that could have helped the build in OKC. Eddy and Eddie look to be more well=rounded players. Should be fun to compare those 3 bigs as time goes on.
I felt like Tony Parker at 1.9 was the biggest reach. I was never a fan of his and the summit just completely soured me on him as a prospect. Obviously he is young and has potential so time and the software will determine how he turns out, but I thought there were better players on the board at 1.9, especially for someone just about to start a tank in SPL. I also wasn't a fan of the Jefferson pick but that looks to have turned out nicely so props to SPL on that one.
2. Who was the best value pick in the draft and why?
Zach Randolph at 6 looks like the first or second best player in the draft along with Arenas. I also really like Spl getting Steven Hunter at 2.12, he looks like he could be an elite shot blocker and good rebounder.
Raptors getting Zach Randolph at 6 was real good value. I think he should have gone a few picks earlier and ahead of Gasol.
Eddie Curry to the Nuggets. He is one of the best looking big men in the class and he grabbed him at the back end of the lotto
Arenas at 3 looks like a steal at this point, but I can’t call that the best value. For me the best value was going back to the last answer, the 1-2 punch of drafting Eddy and Eddie. Potentially securing 2 high upside big men back to back is a great value for a draft. However honorable mention goes to Joe Forte, looks to be a nice piece for a team. Strong TC so should be interesting to see how he does if he ever gets time.
Zach Randolph at 1.6 because he could potentially end up as the best player in the draft. There were mixed opinions about him entering the draft, some like Odin loved him. I think everyone is on board now as he had a great TC and is performing extremely well early on.
3. If you could redraft a single player for a single team, who would it be? The player you choose has to have been selected AFTER the pick you're re-picking.
Spurs taking Arenas instead of Joe Johnson or JRich. Need to take the elite PG prospect when you get the chance. I don't consider Joe Johnson a PG prospect, there haven't been many wings that have successfully made that transition. I think people need to give up on that dream of turning elite wing prospects into PGs.
In place of Loren Woods I wish I would have gone with Nigel Smth. I took Loren based off the higher ceiling but Nigel got a bump in his potential and looks like he has some nice upside to be a good 2 way big.
I'll take the easy route and say Arenas to the Spurs. He would still be able to tank with Westbrook starting at PG while he grooms a great looking prospect in Arenas.
I think a selection of Johnson and then Arenas would have been a potential lethal combination. Both players look like studs ang could grow together. Overall Arenas looks like a better player out the gate, but we all expect Joe Johnson to put up some numbers. Imagine these two scoring machines in their prime together.
This is going to be a bit redundant, but Zach Randolph to the Celtics at 1.4. I almost went with Randolph to the Spurs with 1.2, but it is understandable why they went with the players they did. Rodney White was a bit of a flier at 4 as dump was counting on the 2.0 Mavs bump. He had a good summit and has some good grades, but early results have been questionable. He could still end up being a good pick, but Randolph is way more of a sure thing and has a higher ceiling IMO. Also, dump could easily have tanked with Randolph on the roster.
4. Who will be the top 5 players from this draft coming off of their rookie contracts?
1. Gilbert Arenas - Will be an elite PG, and only above Randolph due to the important of the position.
2. Zach Randolph - Could be the next Blair if he has some kind shot blocking TCs.
3. Rodney White - The next Dario.
4. Joe Johnson - His production will catch up to his grades. Hopefully Victor keeps him as a wing.
5. Jason Richardson - I still have high hopes for him.
1. Gilbert Arenas - he has the appearance of being an absolute stud
2. Zbo - He is going to be a very efficent player for many years
3. Eddie Curry - His offense looks to be a very efficent offensive player, if he can get a little love into his D and rebounding, could surpass Zbo
4 and 5. Johnson & Richardson - Think both of these two will become monster scorers eventually. The efficency may not be there but the good sign is that will improve and you see the volume of chances there.
1. Gilbert Arenas
2. Z-Bo
3. Pau Gasol
4. Joe Johnson
5. Rodney White
1) Gilbert Arenas
2) Joe Johnson
3) Zach Randolph
4) Rodney White
5) Eddy Curry
1. Zach Randolph
2. Gilbert Arenas
3. Jason Richardson
4. Shane Battier
5. Eddie Griffin
