Marvin Williams 19 SF/PF 6'9 237 North Carolina B B- C- B- B- A Strengths:
Williams has the size, length, versatility, athleticism and high upside that teams love. Defensively, Marvin has the ability to guard both forward positions. He is quick enough to stay with most small forwards away from the basket and has enough length and strength to guard most power forwards down low. He should be a productive rebounder with his size and athleticism. The most developed part of Williams’ offensive game right now is his pretty jumpshot. He has a very natural stroke and shows great form for his size. He had very impressive shooting percentages for a freshmen last season. Williams doesn’t shy away from contact inside and actually looks for it often. He has no problem finishing strong over defenders at the rim, even after taking contact. He’s shown the ability to get to the line at a high rate. Weaknesses:
As a defender, he rarely takes risks, so he won’t create many turnovers or block too many shots. Offensively, his quickness and ball handling are concerns as he has yet to show that he has the ability to put the ball on the floor and create his own shot.

Gotta like a teenager with these starting grades. Only concern is the possibility of him being a tweener with no true position.
