Deron Williams 21 PG 6'3 200 Illinois B- C+ B+ B- C- A Strengths:
Williams is a point guard prospect that coaches and scouts are very excited about due to his huge upside. He finishes in the paint at a great rate thanks to his size and strength. He’s fearless when attacking the rim and will surprise defenders with his athleticism. He’s an effective shooter off the dribble and from mid-range. He’s a better free throw shooter than his percentage suggests, shot 78% from the previous season. He has an outstanding handle with either hand and is a very good passer. He knows how to feed his teammates and always places the ball exactly where they want it thanks to his outstanding court vision and feel for the game. He rebounds the ball at a decent rate for a point guard. Is a good perimeter defender thanks to his strength and high basketball IQ. Weaknesses:
Not the quickest player and could have problems staying in front of the elite point guards in the league. He won’t create turnovers, because he doesn’t risk his defensive position to jump passing lanes. His outside shooting isn’t consistent yet, but he should develop three-point range in time.

Weird that he wasn't particularly good in college. Really like the write up and grades though

He wasn't asked to do a lot in college because his team was stacked. He had guys like Dee Brown and Luther Head taking the lion's share of the shots, plus they had two bigs that were averaging double digit points per game. They didn't lose a game until their last game of the regular season, then they won the big ten tourny, and they made it to the NCAA finals.

That Illni team was stacked with some serious talent for that level
