i don't see the point in resigning Miner anyway. why not let him walk? you're stuck with a mediocre 38 pick either way, but then you only have decrepit busty P on the books (maybe), you can start tanking for real. if you do sign him you won't have cap room in 3037 FA, so your 3038 choices will be build around late 20s Miner (good luck) or blow it up anyway. 23 ppg wings are everywhere. Total agreement from me. |

Just to keep this thing going. What would the benefit of keeping Randle be or what other great move should I have made ? Obviously, I should have done the trade with heebs. But at this point in time what would the best move have been?

But at this point in time what would the best move have been? as far as other great moves, who really knows. there's far too many variables at play to know what would happen a week, or even a few days from now. what i can tell you is people are far more inclined to take on contracts after day 1 of fa. as far as keeping randle goes, not only do i think he's just better than miner but he would have had a lot more value if you waited until next year and traded him after you resigned him. but again, lot of variables at play so who knows what really would have happened. i just would have gone for something other than picks of the team i'm trading players to. i'd rather pay to dump arizin or straight dump chit than this trade though. maybe even nve. |
