Strengths:
Carter’s an extremely versatile and athletic wing, with incredible scoring tools. He possesses an outstanding vertical leap, first step, wingspan, and just about everything you look for in a star physically. He uses his athleticism well when attacking the basket, he’s shown good ability to take contact and adjust in the air when finishing at the rim. Really made strides as a three-point shooter last season, raising his percentage to 41%. Should be a decent rebounder immediately due to his athleticism. His lateral quickness and leaping ability will allow him contribute with steals and blocks.
Weaknesses:
He could be a significantly better defender if he put his mind to it, he has all the tools to be a very good man-to-man defender. Better free throw shooter than last season’s percentage shows, but he still has room to improve at the line.
