Strengths:
Davis is an impressive athlete that has the ability to make highlight reel plays at the rim. His size and strength make him capable of absorbing contact and going to the free throw line at a decent rate. He has a compact shooting stroke and there is no reason to believe he won’t become a good midrange shooter in time. Should be a solid rebounder for a shooting guard due to his length and leaping ability. Because of his raw physical tools, Davis has a high ceiling. Weaknesses:
Davis possesses the lateral quickness and strength to be a good wing defender, but needs to play with more effort on that end of the floor. At this stage of his career, he doesn’t look like the type of player that will create too many turnovers. Shot only 30.8% on threes in his one season at Iowa, will need to put in the work to improve his range. |
