Jerry Lucas 22 PF/C 6'8 230 Ohio State B C C- B A- AStrengths:
Fantastic rebounder, should come in and average a double-double immediately Reliable from the free throw line and good mid-range jump shooter Quality post defender and can protect the rim Potential to be a franchise player Weaknesses:
Size could be an issue since he’s only 6’8 Good touch around the basket, but his back-to-the-basket game is still in development

SugarShaun I don't know about grades as I've never tried before but I'll give it a shot.
Jerry in my opinion is the clear #1 pick and should have grades that reflect that. He was not involved in the draft selections because Cincinnati used a territorial pick on him so here is what I offer to support that.
3X consensus AA, 2X National POTY, 2X NCAA tournament most outstanding player (so once when they lost)
I know they had Havlicek too but Lucas was the star of that OSU team and they went to the NC game all 3 years he played (including the only title in OSU history). OSU has made 5 times total, so twice in the history without Lucas.
Now to the grades.
Let's start with the obvious one. Rebounding. Looking at the list of guys with A- rebounding I think that is the minimum for Lucas.
Still holds the OSU rebounding record with 17.2 per game (including 17.4 his 2nd to last season and 17.8 his last season, 2nd place for career is 4.9 rpg less). Holds the top 3 season rebounding averages in OSU history (4th place is over 1 full rebound lower per game than 3rd place). Holds or tied for 7 spots in the OSU single game rebounding records include 3 30 rebound games.
For scoring grades I think he is worthy of B+ B.
24.3 PPG on great percentages in his career.
62.4% FG %. 77.7% FT %.
He was also known to be a good passer and defender (blocks/steals/assists weren't recorded then but during his NBA career he averaged 3 assists per game).
Looking at the other multiple NCAA National POTYs was tough because 3 were in the creation draft (all went top 5) and only 1 was in a draft class.
Let's start with the creation guys
Kareem is a huge * because he was 29 in that draft.
A- C- C+ A+ A- D
Bill Walton 23
A- C- C+ A+ A- A
David Thompson 22
B+ A- B B+ C- A
Then the draft class one
Ralph Sampson 23
B+ C- D B+ B+ B
Walton was drafted at 22 so 1 year in he had those grades with career stats of 20.3 PPG and 15.7 RPG. 65.1 FG% and 64.2 FT%.
Sampson had 16.9 PPG and 11.4 RPG. 56.8 FG% and 65.7 FT%.
Lucas is between them but closer to Walton on he FG% and far above them on FT%. I think B+ seems appropriate on the inside grade and still feel the B would be fine for outside but could listen to B- though he was known to be a good jump shooter and shot from the outside a lot during his NBA career
PF/C
Grades:
B+ B C B A- A

Wow... he's going to be pretty darn good. I hope Shaun drafts him and then loses him in FA to a lower offer.
