 Ben Gordon Age: 21 Height: 6'3 Weight: 200 Position: SG/PG School: UConn B- B C C+ D+ A The Good: Gordon is as pure a scorer as will be found in this class. He can shoot the lights out from three and has a nice mid range game. He can take his man off the dribble and finish at the basket. There aren't many holes in his offensive game. Defensively he has the ability to guard other point guards, he'll struggle against larger shooting guards. The Bad: Not a polished point guard by any means. Has always been a shoot first player. He'll struggle to run a pro offense early on, and needs to learn how to distribute the ball. He turns it over too much and must cut down on these mistakes as well. Not a great rebounder due to his size. It's hard to see him as an ideal fit in any position. The Ugly: If he doesn't learn to pass and run an offense, he could be a one dimensional scorer off the bench. |
