Strengths:
Wade is an electric scorer who is a late riser up draft boards after carrying simMarquette to the final 4 in his final season. He can get the the rim at will and is one of the best at finishing around the rim. Creates a lot of contact driving to the rim and has the strength to frequently score through contact anyway. Has an extremely quick first step which makes it very hard for defenders to stay in front of him. Wade has the potential to live at the FT line in the simNBA. Has great handles that he uses to split double teams on his way to the rim. He has the ability to consistently step back and hit a mid-range jumper, but struggled from 3pt range up until the simNCAA Tournament. Scouts wonder if that was just a hot streak or if his 3pt shot will continue to develop. Wade is a willing passer, but he mostly looks to create for himself, not others. On defense, he is a gambler who loves to jump passing lanes and pick up a lot of steals. Scouts love Wade's ability to impact opponent's shots. He is an outstanding weak-side shot blocker who should average a blocked shot per game. He is a good rebounder for his size and should rack up a few triple doubles over the course of his career. Wade has the potential to be a HoF caliber player if 20s doesn't bust him.
Weaknesses
Wade is a tweener. He is a bit short to be a SG, but isn't a good enough passer to be a PG. Wade needs the ball in his hands to be effective. Not very comfortable playing off the ball. As previously mentioned, scouts are very concerned that his 3pt shot will not develop at the NBA level. Wade is a capable on ball defender, but it is not one of the strengths of his game. Has a reputation for selling contact to try and get to the line. Has a checkered injury history as he tore his meniscus in college and chose to have it shortened instead of repaired, which could affect his long-term health. Missed his freshman year due to being academically ineligible. Married young and there are rumors that his wife is bat shit crazy and could affect his focus on the court.
