Strengths:
Pietrus is a physical specimen with prototypical size and athleticism for a wing. Plays with good effort on the defensive end. Should be a plus defender due to his lateral quickness and length. His leaping ability helps him to be a decent shot blocker and good rebounder for his position. On offense, he’s an impressive finisher in the paint and on the break. Weaknesses:
Still a work in progress offensively. Possesses good scoring tools, but lacks the ball-handling skills to consistently create his own shot. Doesn’t have much range on his jump shot yet. Needs to get stronger and add some weight. |
