Strengths:
Ingram is a player that possesses intriguing upside as he combines superb shooting and a knack for scoring with length. Ingram’s shooting ability is his standout talent; he plays the game very efficiently, making a high number of midrange jumpers. He shot an impressive 41% from beyond the arc last season and has range that extends to the pro three-point line. He uses his size and length to easily shoot over smaller defenders and to finish at the rim. Ingram isn’t just a one-dimensional scorer; he has an impressive handle and is a willing passer. On defense, he’s shown good anticipation skills when it comes to blocks and steals. He’s also a good rebounder because of his length and high basketball IQ. While Ingram had a tremendous freshman season, being named ACC-Rookie of the Year, he doesn't appear anywhere close to reaching his ceiling and his game has a lot of room for growth.
Weaknesses:
Extremely frail and needs to develop his body and strength in order to handle the physical play at the next level. At Duke, he often struggled to finish after contact and when defending bigger players. While Ingram is a smooth athlete, he’s not overly explosive and doesn’t have great quickness. Fundamentals and footwork as an individual defender need to improve.
