Strengths:
Possesses good size and length for a combo guard. Baldwin is able to defend to multiple positions; he uses his length and strength well to force his man into taking difficult shots. Offensively, he attacks the rim with ferocity and is difficult to contain in the open floor. He has a good jump shot with a compact release and decent range. He shot a good percentage from the free throw line. As a passer, he does a good job of finding open teammates and delivers the ball on target into the shooter’s pocket.
Weaknesses:
There are questions about his ability to truly play the PG position, he doesn’t have an impressive handle and isn’t a natural running an offense or creating for teammates. Baldwin isn’t an elite level athlete and has troubles finishing at the rim. Wasn’t a volume scorer in college, so he may never be anything more than a role player.
