Malik Beasley 20 SG 6'5 196 Florida State B- B- C- C+ C A Strengths:
Standing at 6’5, Beasley doesn't quite have elite physical tools for a pro shooting guard, but he's an impressive athlete, good shooter and aggressive slasher that brings an energetic approach to the floor. He is very good in the open court and in transition. He finishes well in the paint and is capable of highlight reel finishes at the rim when he gets an opening. Has textbook mechanics on his jump shot and is a knockdown shooter if left open. Beasley plays with tremendous effort on defense and is a good rebounder for a guard. Beasley has a lot of potential and could be an all-star if he lands in the right situation. Weaknesses:
Beasley isn’t much of a playmaker at this stage of his development. His ball handling is sufficient, but there is room for improvement, he was a bit turnover prone when he had the ball in his hands for too long. He’s often too reckless as a defender, will take too many chances going for steals. Needs to get stronger, he may struggle early on defending bigger wings.

Solid potential. I could see myself taking a chance on him.

Good grades and I like his size. TOs could be a real issue though
