Strengths:
Battie’s biggest strength is his rebounding. He’s a high motor player that cleans the glass on both ends. Defensively, he excels as a shot blocker coming from the weak side. He does a good job of challenging shots and erasing his teammates mistakes. Most scouts are very high on Battie’s potential due to his athleticism and how much he improved last season.
Weaknesses:
Made huge strides as a scorer this past season, but his post-game is still a work in progress. Battie is not much of a threat to score outside of the paint and is below average from the free throw line. Will become a more effective post defender once he gets stronger.
