 Ron Mercer 21 SG 6'7 210 Kentucky B B- C C+ C A  Strengths:
Mercer is a good scorer, that is most effective as a mid-range jump shooter. He can get out in transition and make plays above the rim due to his leaping ability and body control. While at Kentucky, he didn’t go to the free throw line often, but shot a solid percentage in his minimal attempts. On defense, he has the lateral quickness to defend shooting guards and the toughness to defend small forwards. Does a pretty good job at playing passing lanes and forcing turnovers. Decent rebounder for a player with his length and athletic ability. Weaknesses:
Not a great three-point shooter, will have to become more consistent from beyond the arc to reach his potential on offense. Mercer isn’t the most creative ball handler and may struggle to create his own shot against the better defenders of the league. |

Much better grades than I think he deserves and a little worried that this is smoke and will be a bust.

Grades so good that he goes past the grades too good phenomenon and ends up w/ grades not good enough. Star prospect
