Danny Fortson 21 PF/C 6'7 260 Cincinnati B+ C D C+ B B Strengths:
Incredibly strong and a load for opposing defenders to deal with inside. Fortson was a consistent double-double threat while at Cincinnati. He is a very effective rebounder; has good anticipation and uses his wide body well when boxing out. As a scorer, Fortson has a remarkably soft touch around the rim to complement his wide array of post moves. Will go to the free throw line often and shoot a good percentage. He also has a good shooting stroke, with range that stretches out to 18 feet. Weaknesses:
Because of his size, he won’t block many shots and he could be a liability as a post defender. On offense, Fortson doesn’t have great leaping ability and may have trouble scoring against length down low.
