Strengths:
Good size and strength for a small forward. Jackson is an above average athlete with a good offensive skillset. He can handle the ball and is very aggressive going to the basket. He has good court vision and can create scoring opportunities for teammates. Although he isn’t very explosive elevating around the rim, he’s very crafty and can finish well with either hand. Jackson isn’t afraid of contact and will often bully his way inside against smaller defenders. He should go to the free throw line at high rate and shoot a decent percentage. He’s a solid spot up shooter, but is more streaky than consistent right now.
Weaknesses:
Inconsistent with his effort level on defense. He has the size, length and competitiveness to be a good on ball defender. He can put up points, but isn’t always in an efficient manner. He doesn’t always know his limitations, which leads to poor shot selection. Mediocre rebounder for a player his size. Like most players his age, Jackson needs to improve his consistency and range on his jumper.
