 Mike Dunleavy 22 SF 6'9 230 Duke B- B- C+ B- C+ B  Strengths: Has a high basketball IQ and supreme size for his position. Does most of his scoring damage as a jump shooter. Has a very fundamental shooting stroke and shows great footwork out on the perimeter. Already has three-point range on his jumper. Good ball handler and passer for size, capable of initiating the offense. Dunleavy is a heady defensive player who doesn’t have the physical assets to be a standout, but is big and smart enough to get by. Decent rebounder for a wing because of his anticipation skills and length. Weaknesses:
Dunleavy is a below average athlete for a wing. He isn’t a very good finisher at the rim and lacks the strength to finish after contact. Needs to become more consistent from the free throw line. Defensively, he’ll make an effort to deny penetration, but he is susceptible to both quicker and stronger players. |
