 Fred Jones 23 SG 6'4 210 Oregon B B C+ C+ C C  Strengths:
Jones is great athlete with incredible leaping ability. He owns a dangerous first step which enables him to drive past most defenders. He really improved as a shooter this past season and is a good with his feet set, but lacks the mechanics to be a consistent shooter off the dribble. He has the potential to be a solid defender, as his quick hands and above average lateral quickness can frustrate opponents. He’s a good rebounder for his size due to his athleticism. Weaknesses:
Jones is undersized for a shooting guard and isn’t a good enough ball handler to switch to point guard. His perimeter jumper can be streaky. JOnes has good defensive fundamentals, but may struggle to be a reliable defender against bigger players. He doesn’t always finish consistently around the basket due to being undersized. |
