Strengths:
Fultz is arguably the top prospect in this draft. He has great size and physical tools for a lead guard. He has the ability to pass and shoot over the top of the defense. He loves to push tempo and will make plays for his teammates with his unselfishness and creativity as a passer. He has no problem creating his own shot due to his handle and quickness. Fultz is a smooth scorer that can get buckets playing on or off the ball. He’s very explosive in space, has impressive body control and can finish from tough angles. He’s a decent outside shooter with his feet set and has pretty good range on his pull up jumper. On defense, Fultz has the ability to defend multiple positions, his length will really bother most guards. He has tremendous instincts when playing passing lanes for steals. And will cover ground very quickly for chase down blocks. His size and athletic ability makes him a good rebounder for a guard.
Weaknesses:
Futlz isn’t a pure shooter, he can be streaky due to inconsistent mechanics. He sometimes gets too casual when handling the ball which leads to careless turnovers. At times, he’ll get too cute around the rim to avoid contact, will become a better finisher inside as he adds weight and strength.
