Strengths:
Quick twitch athlete with good size for a wing. Jackson’s super competitive on the defensive end, he takes pride in stopping his man. He has quick feet, anticipates moves well and has sound technique as a wing defender. He pressures the ball aggressively and has active hands for steals. He’ll use his quickness, bounce and solid reach to recover on drivers for blocks. His athletic tools and competitiveness make him tough on the glass, he’s quick to the ball and can elevate in a crowd. Offensively, he uses his athleticism to make plays above the rim with ease. He shows decent potential as a shooter even though he doesn’t have sound mechanics. He likes to shoot of the dribble from midrange and knows how to create space with his quickness and handle. He’s also an unselfish player that can make plays for teammates and run the fast break.
Weaknesses:
Inconsistent as a jump shooter due to funky mechanics. He’s more comfortable shooting off the dribble and will turn down open spot ups. His lack of strength hurts his ability to take advantage of his size on offense, he can improve his ability to finish with contact. He lacks discipline as a defender, he’ll gamble for steals or blocks too often causing him to get into foul trouble.
