 Malik Monk 20 PG/SG 6'4 185 Kentucky B- B C C+ C- A
Strengths:
Dynamic, aggressive scorer, who can fill it up in bunches. He can stop on a dime, elevate and make shots with range. He has good mechanics on his jumper with range that extends out to the three-point line. When attacking the basket, Monk has good creativity, body control and can make plays above the rim. Although he’s far from a natural point guard, he shows enough playmaking ability to operate as a combo guard. He can find others in transition or drive and kick to open shooters. He’s indifferent on defense at this stage, but has the feet and closing speed to be a solid defender. He’s rangy for his size and can make plays off the ball when dialed in. Weaknesses:
Shot selection is an issue, he’ll often settle for tough off balanced jumpers instead of taking advantage of his athleticism closer to the rim. Monk is only an average ball handler; he struggles with his handle against pressure. On defense, he may have trouble defending bigger guards and doesn’t offer much as a rebounder. |

Are you saying his stroke is not wet or that you wont be changing his grade ? He is shooting nearly 40 percent from three while taking 8 a game. Overall FG percentage is 484 as frosh and shooting 85 percent from the line.
