Strengths:
Bolden has elite physical tools for a center. He’s mobile for his size and has the athleticism to make plays above the rim. He has a nice foundational skillset on the block with his good footwork and soft touch. His size helps him to establish deep position inside and helps him to take hits around the rim. He isn’t overly quick, but his combo of length and mobility give him upside on defense. He’s really tough to shoot over in the paint. He has nice timing and uses his length well to contest shots. Although he can improve his consistency on the boards, he has the ability to become a plus rebounder in time.
Weaknesses:
Bolden can play with more toughness, he’s not overly physical on the glass or defense. He doesn’t always make an effort to rebound outside of his area. He lacks versatility on offense, he’s strictly an interior scorer that plays from 10 feet and in. He isn’t much of a scoring threat from outside the paint right now.
