1. Kansas City Kings - LeBron James SF 6'8'' 240 19 A C+ B B+ B A
1. Kansas City Kings - LeBron James SF 6'8'' 245 19 A C+ B A- B A (+1)
Only a +1 for Lebron but even a +1 at his starting grade set is really good. Lebron appears to be the stud that we thought he would be.
2. Vancouver Grizzlies - Carmelo Anthony SF 6'8'' 230 19 B+ C+ C C+ B A
2. Vancouver Grizzlies - Carmelo Anthony SF 6'8'' 235 19 B+ B- C B- B+ A (+3)
+3 for Melo with increases in outside, defense and rebounding. The concerns on him was around his defense and it appears that should not be an issue for Melo. I was suprirsed to see him go infront of Wade but this is a real good TC for Melo.
3. Minnesota Timberwolves - Dwyane Wade SG 6'4'' 220 21 B+ C+ C+ B C+ A
3. Minnesota Timberwolves - Dwyane Wade SG 6'4'' 225 21 B+ C+ C+ A- C+ A (+2)
+2 for Wade and his only change was on the defensive end where he went to a A-. Grades are still very good on the offensive end and no loss on that potential. Looks to be another stud. Hopefully that outside shooting comes around.
4. Philadelphia 76ers - Chris Bosh PF 6'11'' 235 19 B C+ C- B B- A
4. Philadelphia 76ers - Chris Bosh PF 6'11'' 240 19 B C+ C- A- B A (+3)
Increases for Bosh on the defensive end and rebounding, will be interesting to see how much of a volume he will shoot in the game.
5. Denver Nuggets - TJ Ford PG 6'0'' 165 21 C+ B- A- B- C- A
5. Denver Nuggets - TJ Ford PG 6'0'' 165 21 B- B- A B+ C- A (+4)
Great TC for Ford with increases with a nice spread of increases for him. +2 jump on the defensive end, looks to be a very good PG for the future. He fell right where I thought he would after the top 4 picks.
6. Chicago Bulls - Josh Howard SF 6'7'' 210 23 B- B- C B B- B
6. Chicago Bulls - Josh Howard SF 6'7'' 210 23 B- B C B+ C+ A (+1, +1 potential)
Josh increased his defense and outside scoring but took a light dip in the rebounding. However, the big thing for him is gaining the potential. Originally I thought he went a pick or two too soon but that jump in potential really makes this a great pick.
7. Orlando Magic - Kyle Korver SF 6'7'' 212 23 C A C+ C+ C B
7. Orlando Magic - Kyle Korver SF 6'7'' 212 23 C A+ C C+ C B (0)
increase in Korvers outside but a decrease in his handling. He might be another version of Klay Thompson that is a good shooter but does not shoot the volume of shots.
8. Atlanta Hawks - Chris Kaman C 7'0'' 265 21 B C D B B+ B
8. Atlanta Hawks - Chris Kaman C 7'0'' 265 21 B C D A- A- B (+3)
Kaman jumped to A- in both Defense and Rebounding, very good pick that looks like he should be a force Day 1 in the league.
9. Milwaukee Bucks - Darko Milicic C 7'0'' 250 19 B C- D+ B- B- A
9. Milwaukee Bucks - Darko Milicic C 7'0'' 255 19 B C D+ B- B+ A (+3)
Nice jump on the rebounding end for Darko with a +2 there and an increase in outside scoring which should be a nice help. The potential is still there for the future with a very interesting skill set.
10. Utah Jazz (from Clippers) - Boris Diaw PF 6'8'' 250 21 B- C+ B C+ B- A
10. Utah Jazz (from Clippers) - Boris Diaw SF 6'8'' 255 21 B- B- A- C+ C+ A (+2)
Gain in outside scoring and handling but a drop in the rebounding is a concern here. Still a very interesting player with high potential.
11. Miami Heat - Tamir Goodman PG 6'3'' 170 21 C+ B- C+ C+ C- A
11. Miami Heat - Tamir Goodman PG 6'3'' 175 21 C+ B C+ C+ C- A (+1)
A gain in outside shooting and not much of anything else. Not sure if he is a PG or an undersized SG, hopefully he gets some love or luck in future TC with his handle.
12. New Jersey Nets (from Lakers) - Mickael Pietrus SG 6'6'' 215 21 B- C+ C- B- C+ A
12. New Jersey Nets (from Lakers) - Mickael Pietrus SG 6'6'' 215 21 B- B- C- B+ C+ A (+3)
A nice jump on both outside and a +2 in his defense. Nets get another interesting wing for the future that appears to be able to play defense. Great pick for them.
13. Atlanta Hawks (from Bobcats) - Marcus Banks PG 6'2'' 200 22 B- C+ B- B D+ A
13. Atlanta Hawks (from Bobcats) - Marcus Banks PG 6'2'' 200 22 C+ C+ B B D+ A (0)
Drop in his inside scoring but an increase in his handles. The potential did not change which is good but he needs some work to be a productive player.
14. Los Angeles Lakers (from Warriors) - Zaza Pachulia C 6'11'' 270 19 C+ C- D B- B- A
14. Los Angeles Lakers (from Warriors) - Zaza Pachulia C 6'11'' 275 19 C+ C- D- B A- A (+3)
A drop in his handles but increases in his defense and a +2 in his rebounding. Has the potential to be a decent D/R big.
15. Utah Jazz - David West PF 6'9'' 250 23 B C C- B- B+ B
15. Utah Jazz - David West PF 6'9'' 250 23 B+ C C- B+ A- A (+4, +1 potential)
Very good TC for West, jump in potential, rebounding and defense with a jump in his inside. The concern will be on the defensive end but I think he can become a player in the future similar to Zach Randolph.
16. San Antonio Spurs - Mike Sweetney C 6'8'' 275 21 B+ C D+ B B C
16. San Antonio Spurs - Mike Sweetney C 6'8'' 275 21 B+ C D+ B B B (+1 potential)
no movement in anything but he does get a jump in his potential.
17. Minnesota Timberwolves (from Pacers) - Kirk Hinrich PG 6'4" 190 23 C+ B B- B- C- B
17. Minnesota Timberwolves (from Pacers) - Kirk Hinrich PG 6'4" 190 23 C A- B B+ C- B (+4)
A drop in his inside scoring but a huge jump in his outside and jumps in his handle and defense. With some love in his inside scoring, appears to be a real good player for the future. Wolves got a steal here in the middle of the draft
18. San Antonio Spurs (from Hornets) - Kendrick Perkins C 6'10'' 270 19 C+ D+ D B- B- A
18. San Antonio Spurs (from Hornets) - Kendrick Perkins C 6'10'' 270 19 C+ D+ D+ B B- A (+2)
Handle jump is not much of anything, nice to see an increase in his defense but Perkins stayed about the same. Still good potential in the future.
19. Toronto Raptors (from Cavs) - Reece Gaines PG 6'6'' 205 23 B- B- B- C+ D+ B
19. Toronto Raptors (from Cavs) - Reece Gaines PG 6'6'' 210 23 B- B- B C+ D+ C (+1, -1 potential)
C future grade is a kick to the nuts and a slight increase in his handles. First real no bueno outlook in this draft.
20. Miami Heat (from Trailblazers) - Dahntay Jones SF 6'6'' 225 23 B- C+ C- B- C B
20. Miami Heat (from Trailblazers) - Dahntay Jones SF 6'6'' 225 23 B- C+ C B C B (+2)
Increase in his handle and defense, still has potential for the future but needs some love to become a player of value.
21. Boston Celtics (from Raptors) - Leandro Barbosa SG 6'3'' 194 21 C+ C+ C+ C+ D+ A
21. Boston Celtics (from Raptors) - Leandro Barbosa SG 6'3'' 194 21 C+ C+ C+ B+ D+ B (+3 -1 potential)
Huge jump in his defense but everything else remained the same which still needs a lot of luck and love. Still can grow into something but the drop in future potential hurts.
22. Minnesota Timberwolves (from Thunder) - Marquis Daniels SG 6'6'' 200 22 B- C+ C B- C+ B
22. Minnesota Timberwolves (from Thunder) - Marquis Daniels SG 6'6'' 200 22 B C+ C B- C+ B (+1)
An increase in his inside scoring, still very interesting grades and has good potential.
23. Minnesota Timberwolves (from Bullets) - Luke Walton PF 6'8" 235 23 B- C+ B C+ C+ B
23. Minnesota Timberwolves (from Bullets) - Luke Walton PF 6'8" 235 23 B- C+ B+ C+ B- B (+2)
Another player for the wolves that has a good grade set with good future potential. increase in his handle and defense. Will need to get points into his jumper.
24. Boston Celtics - Ndubi Ebi SG 6'9'' 200 19 B- C C C+ C+ A
24. Boston Celtics - Ndubi Ebi SG 6'9'' 205 19 B- C+ C B+ C+ A (+4)
Pretty big jump for Ebi here at the end of the 1st round, with the biggest jump on the defensive end. This is a very interesting future player with high potential, great steal at the end of the 1st round.
25. Milwaukee Bucks (from Supersonics) - Mo Williams PG 6'1'' 198 21 C+ B- C+ C+ C- B
25. Milwaukee Bucks (from Supersonics) - Mo Williams PG 6'1'' 198 21 C+ B C+ C+ C- A (+1, +1 potential)
Increase in his outside scoring but a real nice jump in his future potential. Trofie could have something real good here.
26. Chicago Bulls (from Rockets) - Zoran Planinic PG 6'7'' 195 21 C+ C+ C+ C C A
26. Chicago Bulls (from Rockets) - Zoran Planinic PG 6'7'' 195 21 C+ C+ C+ B- C B (+2, -1 potential)
Decrease in potential stinks but at the 26th pick still holding up with a B potential is still solid. A real nice increase in his defense with everything else holding.
27. San Antonio Spurs (from Suns) - Ben Wachter C 6'11'' 233 22 C D C B+ C+ A
27. San Antonio Spurs (from Suns) - Ben Wachter C 6'11'' 233 22 C D C B+ C+ A (0)
No movement either way, held his A potential but appears to be a D/R big.
28. Los Angeles Clippers (from Knicks) - James Jones SF 6'8'' 218 23 C+ B C- B- C+ C
28. Los Angeles Clippers (from Knicks) - James Jones SF 6'8'' 218 23 C+ B- C- C+ C+ C (-2)
-2 and no movement on C potential, does not look like much is here.
29. Los Angeles Clippers (from Nets) - Troy Bell PG 6'1'' 180 23 B- B C+ B- C C
29. Los Angeles Clippers (from Nets) - Troy Bell PG 6'1'' 180 23 B- B C+ B C C (+1)
An increase in his defense but potential stays at C. Does not appear to have much upside
Round 2
1. Philadelphia 76ers - Luke Ridnour PG 6'2'' 175 22 C+ B B C+ D+ B
1. Philadelphia 76ers - Luke Ridnour PG 6'2'' 175 22 C+ B+ B+ B C- B (+5)
First pick of the 2nd round goes for a +5, real nice pick here for Fason and looks like he has a potential steal here at the start of the 2nd round.
2. Denver Nuggets - Brian Cook PF 6'9'' 234 23 B- B- D+ C+ B- B
2. Denver Nuggets - Brian Cook PF 6'9'' 234 23 B- B- C- C+ B- B (+1)

4. Kansas City Kings - Zarko Cabarkapa C 6'11'' 235 22 C+ C C- B+ B A (+4)
Zarko gets a nice bump with +4 and kings get some more draft luck/love

9. Milwaukee Bucks - Willie Green SG 6'4'' 200 22 B- B+ C B C C (+4, -1 potential)
Great turnaround with a +4 but the drop in potential hurts. Still an interesting player for the future. Could be a decent back up option.
