1. Toronto Raptors - Markelle Fultz PG 6'4'' 185 19 B C+ B- B- C A
1. Toronto Raptors - Markelle Fultz PG 6'4'' 190 19 B- B- B- B C A (+1)
A small drop in his inside and a bump in his outside scoring with an increase in his defense. Still has a lot of time to grow and he may not have had the jump that others have in this draft. Still a very good future prospect.
2. San Antonio Spurs - Lonzo Ball PG 6'6'' 190 20 C B- A- B C+ A
2. San Antonio Spurs - Lonzo Ball PG 6'6'' 190 20 C+ B A+ A- C+ A (+6)
The big knock on Ball pre-summit was the C inside grade. The question in my mind was if he was going to be a volume shooter. After the summit, it showed me that he would and I thought he was in contention for the top pick in this draft. After the TC, wow is all I can say. He is an absolute stud.
3. Los Angeles Lakers - Jayson Tatum SF 6'8'' 204 20 B- B C- C+ C+ A
3. Los Angeles Lakers - Jayson Tatum SF 6'8'' 209 20 B B+ D+ B C+ A (+3)
Increases in his inside and outside scoring, a drop in his handle and a big jump in his defense. I thought he was possible for a number one pick because he is 6'8 and SG eligible. He had a real good TC where it counts. I would not be too worried on his handle drop as I think that helps the lakers more than it hurts it in the short term. I think as future TCs happen that we will see that increase and he will be another very good future piece for the lakers.
4. Denver Nuggets - Harry Giles PF 6'11'' 222 19 B C- D+ B- B+ B
4. Denver Nuggets - Harry Giles PF 6'11'' 227 19 B C D+ B- A- A (+2, +1 potential)
When I did my prospect evaluation on this draft, I had Giles as the top big in this draft. I thought when Denver picked him it was a little too soon. I liked some of the players later on a little more. With that said, he did have a real nice TC and had a jump in his potential. I think the risk paid off for Denver and I think they have something really good here.
5. Kansas City Kings - Malik Monk SG 6'4'' 185 20 B- B C C+ C- A
5. Kansas City Kings - Malik Monk SG 6'4'' 185 20 B- B C B- C- A (+1)
A slight bump in his defense, not the most ideal TC for Monk. I think Monk is going to be a real good scorer but the big concern on him is he a undersized SG or a PG. If he is a SG, I think his value is much less.
6. Miami Heat - De'Aaron Fox PG 6'4'' 171 20 C+ C+ B B C A
6. Miami Heat - De'Aaron Fox PG 6'4'' 171 20 C+ B- A- B+ C A (+4)
A pick made by Bankz or should I say his son who likes foxes apparently. Before the TC I thought this was a slight reach, I thought he was going to fall around 9 or 10. I was hoping he would have slide to 11. However, post TC this is a great pick with the increase in outside, handling and defense. Looks like he is going to be a stud.
7. Chicago Bulls - Robert Williams PF 6'9'' 237 20 B C D B B- A
7. Chicago Bulls - Robert Williams PF 6'9'' 237 20 B C D+ B B A (+2)
Increases in his handle and rebounds. I was a little surprised by this pick when it came up, with his size, I would assume he is going to get moved to SF. He could be something if he can get some love into his outside.
8. Vancouver Grizzlies - Marques Bolden C 6'11'' 250 20 B- D+ D B B- A
8. Vancouver Grizzlies - Marques Bolden C 6'11'' 250 20 B- D+ D+ B B- A (+1)
An increase in his handle and everything else stayed stagnant. not the most ideal TC. There is still some good future potential and the Grizz are not going to need him right away. The question will be if he can become an efficent scorer, I think he will be a good defender and rebounder.
9. Orlando Magic - Jonathan Isaac PF 6'11'' 205 20 B C+ C- B- C+ A
9. Orlando Magic - Jonathan Isaac PF 6'11'' 210 20 B C+ C- B+ C+ A (+2)
an increase of 2 in his defense. Pre-summit this was a guy that I really liked and thought/and still think will be a very good SF in the future. Hopefully he gets some luck/love in his rebounding and outside scoring.
10. Boston Celtics (from Pacers) - Josh Jackson SF 6'8'' 203 20 B C C+ B+ B- A
10. Boston Celtics (from Pacers) - Josh Jackson SF 6'8'' 203 20 B- C+ C+ B+ B- B (-1 potential)
Jackson performed really well in the summit and in my opinion played his way into a conversation of a top 5 or 6 pick in this draft. The TC however was not that kind to him. He lost a little in his inside and gained a little in his outside. Not a devestating turn but the drop in his future potential hurts, does not kill him but makes him slightly less desirable. I still think there is a lot to like about him and I think he can still grow into a very good wing.
11. Milwaukee Bucks (from Clippers) - Justin Patton C 7'0'' 233 20 B+ C- C- B- C+ A
11. Milwaukee Bucks (from Clippers) - Justin Patton C 7'0'' 233 20 A- C- C- A- B A (+6)
Patton was a little bit of a late addition to the draft and there was some questions about him. I thought he was a player that would fall about where he did in his draft because of those questions. His TC absolutelty killed it with increases in his inside scoring, defense and rebounding. Might be one of the top players in this past draft now.
12. San Antonio Spurs (from Bobcats) - Jarrett Allen C 6'11'' 224 19 C+ D+ D B B- A
12. San Antonio Spurs (from Bobcats) - Jarrett Allen C 6'11'' 229 19 C+ D+ D+ A- B- A (+3)
Increases in his handle and defense. The big thing is the jump in his defense, this is a player that I pegged as a d/r big that will hopefully not shoot a high volume. So seeing that defense increase and scoring grades stay stagnant is huge for him.
13. Toronto Raptors (from Hornets) - Peter Jok SG 6'6'' 202 22 C+ B C+ C C+ B
13. Toronto Raptors (from Hornets) - Peter Jok SG 6'6'' 202 22 C+ B C C C+ B (-1)
A decrease in his handling and everything else stayed the same. Not the most ideal TC for Pete but it is not something that does not kill his future potential.
14. Toronto Raptors (from Cavs) - Miles Bridges SF 6'6'' 215 20 B C+ C C+ B- A
14. Toronto Raptors (from Cavs) - Miles Bridges SF 6'6'' 215 20 B+ B- C B- B+ A (+5)
Unlike Pete's previous pick this one had a massive TC gain. He increased his inside, outside, defense and rebounding. Everywhere you would like to see an increase. This has the makings of a very good future player.
15. Milwaukee Bucks (from Bullets) - Dillon Brooks SF 6'7'' 215 21 B- B- C+ C+ C+ B
15. Milwaukee Bucks (from Bullets) - Dillon Brooks SF 6'7'' 215 21 B- B B- B- C+ A (+3, +1 potential)
Everthing in this TC is coming up Bucks. Another real good TC for Trofie. In creases in his outside, handling, defense and a jump in potential. Also from summer league, looks like could be a future stud.
16. Los Angeles Lakers (from Warriors) - OG Anunoby SF 6'8'' 235 20 B C+ C- B C+ A
16. Los Angeles Lakers (from Warriors) - OG Anunoby SF 6'8'' 235 20 B+ B- C- B+ B- A (+4)
Before the summit, I thought OG was going to fall in the 5-10 range in the draft. He had a real good TC with increases in inside and outside, defense and rebounding. I really like the wings that Ian has going on here with OG and Tatum.
17. Minnesota Timberwolves - DJ Hogg PF 6'8'' 220 21 B- C+ C C+ B- B
17. Minnesota Timberwolves - DJ Hogg PF 6'8'' 220 21 B- C+ C B- B- B (+1)
an increase in his defense and everything else stayed the same. Not the best TC result but not the worst either. Still has time to grow and with some future TC luck and a little love he could develop into something.
18. Oklahoma City Thunder - Ivan Rabb C 6'10'' 215 21 B C- C- B- B+ B
18. Oklahoma City Thunder - Ivan Rabb C 6'10'' 220 21 B C C B- B+ B (+2)
Increases in his outside and handle. A very interesting player that if he gets some luck/love into his defense, could become a good player.
19. Boston Celtics - Dennis Smith Jr PG 6'2'' 160 20 B- C+ B B- C- A
19. Boston Celtics - Dennis Smith Jr PG 6'2'' 190 20 B C+ B+ B+ C- A (+4)
Before the summit, I thought Dennis Smith was a player that would have gone in the top 10. After the summit, I thought he was a player that played himself outside of the top 10 and most likely to 11 or 12th overall. As the draft was going on, I was trying real hard to move up and pick him up. I feel dump got himself some tremendous value here at 19. Now add into it that he had a real nice TC with increases in his inside, handle and a big jump on his defense. I feel that this is a guy that could turn out to be a player like Gerald Henderson.
20. Orlando Magic (from Sonics) - Dwayne Bacon SF 6'7'' 210 22 C+ B- C C+ C+ B
20. Orlando Magic (from Sonics) - Dwayne Bacon SF 6'7'' 210 22 C+ B- C B- C B (0)
An increase in his defense and a drop in his rebounding. Not the most ideal TC but with his potential remaining at B there is still hope.
21. San Antonio Spurs (from Rockets) - Tyler Lydon PF 6'9'' 205 21 C+ B C- B- C+ B
21. San Antonio Spurs (from Rockets) - Tyler Lydon PF 6'9'' 205 21 B- B C- A- C+ B (+4)
I was a little surprised at how long Lydon lasted on the board, he was a player that I thought had some real nice upside as a profile player that is SF eligible. He took a little jump in his inside and a huge jump in his defense. A very good looking prospect moving forward and real good value here at 21.
22. Utah Jazz (from Hawks) - Frank Jackson PG 6'4'' 208 19 C+ B- C+ C+ D+ B
22. Utah Jazz (from Hawks) - Frank Jackson PG 6'4'' 208 19 C+ B C+ B- D+ A (+2, +1 potential)
Increase in his outside scoring and his defense with a jump in potential to A. Staying at a C+ handle is a little bit of a worry, would have looked to seen a jump in that area but with the current position of him not being needed is a good player to have stashed in the back ground for the future.
23. Vancouver Grizzlies (from Knicks) - Terrance Ferguson SG 6'7'' 186 19 C+ B C- B- C A
23. Vancouver Grizzlies (from Knicks) - Terrance Ferguson SG 6'7'' 186 19 C+ B- C- B- C A (-1)
When I did my write up of the pre-summit look at this draft. Ferguson was a player that stood out to me with his grades and the lack of SG eligible profile players. He did not show much in the summit and went about where I would expect in the draft. The TC did not provide him much love with a slight decrease in his outside, however, there is still a lot to like in this prospect. Still has his A potential and still has a real good grade set to build upon.
24. Philadelphia 76ers (from Nets) - Jonathan Jeanne PF 7'2'' 195 20 B- C C- B C+ B
24. Philadelphia 76ers (from Nets) - Jonathan Jeanne PF 7'2'' 195 20 C+ C C- B- C+ B (-2)
A decrease in his inside and defense and no movement elsewhere. Not the end of the world with him as he still has an interesting grade set, one can even think the decrease in his inside scoring might be a good thing if Fason wants him to take less shots and be a classic D/R big.
25. Vancouver Grizzlies (from Jazz) - Bam Adebayo PF 6'10'' 250 20 B- D+ D+ B B B
25. Vancouver Grizzlies (from Jazz) - Bam Adebayo PF 6'10'' 250 20 B- D+ D+ B B B (0)
Bam got a little bit of the blutarski 0.0 movement here. Not what you are looking for in a TC but still kept his potential, still has grades that can built upon.
26. Kansas City Kings (from Suns) - Frank Ntilikina PG 6'5'' 170 19 C C+ B+ B C A
26. Kansas City Kings (from Suns) - Frank Ntilikina PG 6'5'' 170 19 C+ C+ A- B+ C A (+3)
Increases in his inside, handle and defense. A player that is very interesting to see how he develops in a few years with TCs, could be a very nice late sleeper in this draft.
27. Boston Celtics (from Bucks) - Lauri Markkanen C 7'0'' 225 20 B B- C- C+ C+ A
27. Boston Celtics (from Bucks) - Lauri Markkanen C 7'0'' 225 20 B B D+ B C+ A (+2)
increase in his outside shooting, decrease in his handle and a +2 in his defense. Real nice TC overall for him, still some work needs to be put into him but if that rebounding comes around and we can get that defense to A- level, he could be one of the best picks in the draft.
28. Chicago Bulls (from 76ers) - Rodions Kurucs SF 6'8'' 190 19 B- C+ C- C+ C+ A
28. Chicago Bulls (from 76ers) - Rodions Kurucs SF 6'8'' 190 19 B- C+ C C+ C+ A (+1)
Increase in his handle, not where you would want to see the increase of a +1 for the wing. However, still holds the future A potential and could still develop into something in the future.
29. Memphis Bobcats (from Blazers) - Thomas Bryant C 6'10'' 241 20 B- C D+ B- B- B
29. Memphis Bobcats (from Blazers) - Thomas Bryant C 6'10'' 241 20 C+ C D+ B+ B A (+2, +1 potential)
Really like this pick at the end of the 1st round. Yes, he took a decrease in his inside scoring but a +2 in his defense and an increase in his rebounding, the big thing is gaining that A in his future potential. Odin has to really be happy with what he picked up here at the end of the 1st round. Some real nice poential here.

one of the better picks in the 2nd round, increase in his defense, rebounding and potential. Could be a nice player in the future.
