I'm taking back what I started. *I don't care about summer league because some play out of position and most won't even get a second contract. Those stats have as much value as Drew league stats irl. Through Preseason
1. Jaylen Brown SF 20 6'7'' 225 B C+ C+ B- B- A Brown put up impressive all around numbers with great shooting percentages. His shooting looks to be much further along than most would have anticipated. He is eligible to play SG if Dirt wants to start him next to Hawkins.
2. Ben Bentil PF 21 6'9'' 235 B- C+ D+ C+ B- A That field goal percentage is great and he had good scoring volume. Wish he shot more threes and brought more as a defender/rebounder. But a nice wing prospect for Kn. 3. Brandon Ingram SF 19 6'10'' 195 B- B C B B- A I usually don't value per 36 stats too much in these, but I really like what Ingram did as a rebounder and defender. Those shooting percentages will obviously drop, but I wouldn't be surprised if he shoots 45% or above this season. 4. Ben Simmons SF 19 6'11'' 245 B+ C B+ C+ A- A I'm not crazy about Simmons moving forward, but rather than trash him for not shooting threes and his lack of blocks, I'll give him credit for being a good rebounder, putting up decent volume as a scorer and having a maxed out jumper. There will be plenty of time to talk about his glaring flaws during the season. 5. Marquese Chriss C 19 6'10'' 233 B C D+ B- C+ A I really like Chriss and can't believe you people allowed him to fall to 1.17. Unlike all of the other bigs in this class Chriss put up a good amount of blocks and shot a nice percentage. His rebounding needs a lot of work though. 6. Dragan Bender PF 19 7'2'' 225 B- B- C- B- C+ A His shooting percentage may be a bit inflated because he played SF during preseason, but he probably would have averaged more rebounds and closer to 1 BPG if he had played PF. Very good looking prospect, imagine if he were eligible to play SG  7. Domantas Sabonis C 20 6'11'' 245 B C C- C+ B+ B His rebounding is good, scoring output really good, shooting percentages are amazing, but those blocks :dead: He'd be the clear #1 and agreat prospect if he averaged close to 1.5-2.0 a game. IIRC his dad averaged a similar number of BPG and eventually got to 2.5.
t8-10. AJ Hammons C 23 7'0'' 260 C+ C C B+ B C
t8-10. Thon Maker C 19 7'2'' 221 B C C B B A
t8-10. Cheick Diallo PF 20 6'9'' 220 C+ D D B+ B+ A
t8-10. Brice Johnson C 22 6'10'' 230 B C D B+ B+ A
t8-10. Skai Labissiere C 20 6'11'' 225 B C- D+ B- B- A Five-way tie for 8th!!!! I did put them in the order that I like them right now though. Hammons looks like the type of big that could eventually average more than 12 boards and 3 blocks. He's good enough right now to be a decent third big. Maker reminds me of Chris Bosh with his maxed out jumper and low scoring volume, he'll need +16 put into his strength to increase his shot attempts and FG%. Diallo's FG% will probably drastically fall to match that FT%, but there is a lot to like with his defense. Johnson's shooting percentages and rebounding are pretty good for a rookie, he could eventually become a nice big if his shot blocking can get to 3 a game. I'm shocked that Labissiere doesn't look totally worthless. He needs a lot of love, but is a decent looking prospect. |

Through Day 30 1. Ben Simmons SF 19 6'11'' 245 B+ C B+ C+ A- A - LR #4 His FG% is inflated since Canes is playing an inside offense and very slow. I'm impressed by his .8 BPG as a small forward. He still hasn't attempted a three which makes it a lost cause imo. Canes please give his shot blocking +16 and use the rest on his rebounding/strength to try and make him Larry Kenon with better defense. 2. Brandon Ingram SF 19 6'10'' 195 B- B C B B- A - LR #3 Still rebounding well and playing very good defense. Wish he got up more shots, but I'm sure Ian will put as many points as he can into his inside scoring and strength. 3. Thon Maker C 19 7'2'' 221 B C C B B A - LR #t10 He really improved his scoring volume from preseason and that is why I have him as the top big in this class. My only critique of his game right now would be his rebounding, but that grows so well that it shouldn't be an issue long term. 4. Diamond Stone C 20 6'11'' 255 B- C D C+ B B - LR unranked Legitimately looks like a direct descendant of Mystic, his FT% makes me think he can keep up that FG%. 5. Skai Labissiere C 20 6'11'' 225 B C- D+ B- B- A - LR #t10 I'm still shocked by how well he's playing. Outside of scoring volume, he does everything really well for a rookie. Skai's the limit for this young BIG  6. Malachi Richardson SG 20 6'6'' 205 B C+ C C+ C B - LR unranked I had to include him with that FG%, but I doubt he even shoots close to 45% by the end of the season. 7. Kris Dunn PG 22 6'4'' 210 B B- B+ A- C B - LR unranked He probably isn't as good of a shooter as his FG% suggests, but I love his defense. His handles are much better than I had expected. 8. Buddy Hield SG 22 6'4'' 215 B- A- C B C B - LR unranked Hield has good scoring volume and decent percentages for a rookie. Wish he offered more as a rebounder and defender. 9. Domantas Sabonis C 20 6'11'' 245 B C C- C+ B+ B - LR #7 Everything looks good besides the blocks. If he's still at 0 BPG by day 60, he'll fall out of the top 10.
t10. Dragan Bender PF 19 7'2'' 225 B- B- C- B- C+ A - LR #6 His FG% has dropped drastically from the preseason, but his rebounding is better than expected and blocks aren't too terrible for a rookie. I still really like him as a prospect and think he could become a Dirk Nowitzki type of a player with kind TCs. t10. Tyler Ulis PG 20 5'10'' 150 C C+ A- A- D B - LR unranked Will be hard to keep him out of the top 3 next set of rankings if he can keep up that hot shooting. Fell out of the top 10Jaylen Brown - His shooting has been terrible, but I still like his all around game. Ben Bentl- Has not shot well in the few minutes that he is getting. Marquese Chriss - I love his shot blocking, but his FG% is too low to be in the top 10 right now. AJ Hammons - Getting no PT. Cheick Diallo - He shoots too much. Brice Johnson - His TOs knocked him out of the top 10. |

Thon Maker C 19 7'2'' 221 B C C B B A - LR #3 Bruns , please show us what he does in an outside focused offense. Maker's field goal percentage dropped from the last set rankings but he's still playing well overall. Moving forward, I expect Maker to become a similar player to Benoit Benjamin. 4. Diamond Stone C 20 6'11'' 255 B- C D C+ B B - LR #4 Numbers haven't changed much so Stone stays at 4. 5. Skai Labissiere C 20 6'11'' 225 B C- D+ B B- A - LR #5 Still hasn't showed any glaring flaws. Was recently able to have +5 put into his shot blocking and increased his defensive grade to B.
6. Kris Dunn PG 22 6'4'' 210 B B- B+ A- C B - LR #7 I still love Dunn and would have him higher if he got more PT. He's still playing really good defense and his three point percentage improved from day 30's rankings. 7. Buddy Hield SG 22 6'4'' 215 B- A- C B C B - LR #8 I really don't have anything new to say about Hield other than he'll need to improve his all around game to be a better than pretty good SG. 8. Jamal Murray SG 20 6'4'' 207 B- B- B- B- C A - LR unranked Murray has really come on these last few sims. He's one of the few wings in this class that can score with decent volume and his shooting percentages have improved. Another thing to like is that he handles the ball well and has B- handles, he may have a future at PG. t9. Malachi Richardson SG 20 6'6'' 205 B C+ C C+ C B - LR #6 Richardson falls just like his shooting percentage. I don't expect him to finish the season in the top 10, especially with Murray and Valentine improving. t9. Denzel Valentine SG 22 6'6'' 212 C+ B B C+ C B - LR unranked He's looking decent now after a brutal start to the season. His shooting percentages are close to Heild's and he rebounds well for a shooting guard. Will be an interesting player going forward since he'll likely be PG eligible after next TC. t10. Domantas Sabonis C 20 6'11'' 245 B C C- C+ B+ B - LR #9 Surge in blocks allows him to stay in the top 10. t10. Tyler Ulis PG 20 5'10'' 150 C C+ A- A- D B - LR #t10 Shooting percentage didn't fall so neither should he. Day 90 Update 1. Ben Simmons SF 19 6'11'' 245 B+ C B+ C+ A- A - LR #1 Thank you Canes for trying an outside offense, even if it was just one sim. I wanted to see how his field goal percentage would respond. Here is what HOFer Larry Kenon did during the creation season. Simmons obviously isn't that good yet, but Simmons could become a similar type of player.  2. Brandon Ingram SF 19 6'10'' 195 B- B C B B- A - LR #2 His shooting percentages shot back up since the last set of rankings. IMO Ingram has the highest upside in this class and the most trade value currently. 3. Skoal Labissiere C 20 6'11'' 225 B C- D+ B B- A - LR #5 His numbers improved as he got more minutes last sim, but his recent name change is responsible for his jump up the rankings. 4. Buddy Hield SG 22 6'4'' 215 B- A- C B C B - LR #7 Still scoring well. 5. Diamond Stone C 20 6'11'' 255 B- C D C+ B B - LR #4 @dumptime please give Stone some more minutes now that you are locked into 9th or 10th odds. 6. Thon Maker C 19 7'2'' 221 B C C B B A - LR #3 I dropped him because of that field goal percentage, he's still a really good prospect. 7. Kris Dunn PG 22 6'4'' 210 B B- B+ A- C B - LR #6 Three point percentage has finally fallen. 8. Jamal Murray SG 20 6'4'' 207 B- B- B- B- C A - LR #8 Murray's three point percentage is why he isn't tied for 4th with Hield. 9. Denzel Valentine SG 22 6'6'' 212 C+ B B C+ C B - LR #t9 Numbers are holding steady. 10. Domantas Sabonis C 20 6'11'' 245 B C C- C+ B+ B - LR #t10 Sabonis is now the poster boy for why this software sucks and why eric should be working on figuring out the new software.

Probably a power forward long term once Canes puts +16 into his shot blocking. 2. Brandon Ingram SF 19 6'10'' 195 B- B C B B- A - LR #2 Field goal percentage, rebounding and defense are pretty good-good for a rookie, he needs some points put into his inside and strength to increase his shot attempts. 3. Buddy Hield SG 22 6'4'' 215 B- A- C B C B - LR #4 Will likely become a 25+ PPG scorer, nice piece for Dump to potentially use in trades. 4. Skoal Labissiere C 20 6'11'' 225 B C- D+ B B- A - LR #3 Production dropped from last set of rankings, which is why I dropped him a spot. He could become a all star/top tier big with kind TCs. 5. Diamond Stone C 20 6'11'' 255 B- C D C+ B B - LR #5 Another trade piece for Dump to use this offseason. Should always at worst be a 12 RPG and 3 BPG type big. 6. Kris Dunn PG 22 6'4'' 210 B B- B+ A- C B - LR #7 Finished with a very impressive field goal percentage and defensive stats. Should become a perennial all league defender. Will need to improve his scoring and three point percentage to become a star. 7. Thon Maker C 19 7'2'' 221 B C C B B A - LR #6 He has the highest upside of any big in this class as long as the software didn't cut his potential to 80 this past TC. Worst case scenario is he becomes a Meyers Leonard type of big. 8. Jamal Murray SG 20 6'4'' 207 B- B- B- B- C A - LR #8 Field goal percentage, free throw percentage, volume and handles are good. With how three point shooting grows, Pete can devote all of Murray's upgrades to his defense and rebounding. 9. Denzel Valentine SG 22 6'6'' 212 C+ B B C+ C B - LR #9 I like him  could be because I expect him to become PG that can rebound very well. 10. Dragan Bender PF 19 7'2'' 225 B- B- C- B- C+ A - LR #10 I like Bender a lot as a prospect. He should become a good scorer, his career will depend on what TC does with his shot blocking. |

I'm going to do something a little different next season. I'm not going to limit myself to just ranking rookies because updating this every 30 sim days sucks. I'll be doing step ladders on multiple topics from now on.
