B- B- B- B- C+ ACurrent Real Madrid star Luka Doncic is a freak of nature. Long, rangy, quick, athletic, and efficient, he's projected by most as the top pick in the draft. The Good: Luka is quick and strong enough to muscle most guards he faces. Defenders have to respect his first step, which allows him to create space for his outstanding midrange game. His court vision is advanced for a player his age - if he winds up at point guard he will likely lead the league in triple doubles. His length and anticipation allow him to get his fair share of steals, blocks, and rebounds. The Bad: Luka has two and a half holes in his game. First, his three-point shot is inconsistent, which limits his offensive repertoire. Second, he shows a lack of defensive intensity on the perimeter. Third, while he's not a bad ball handler, it will be a liability for a team that tries to play him at point guard. |
