I always wondered what Zeke did for a living, because one that house wasn't cheap even if he bought it in the 70s. Second, when he was essentially bankrupt after that bad investment how did he afford the property taxes? In Berkley that is like a 4 million dollar home. Right now in Alameda county the property tax is .012 percent of the assessed value of the home which if im right at its a 4 million dollar home then that is 48k a year in property taxes. Milli is not selling enough paintings to pay for that. Zeke is essentially bankrupt and asking Adam for money, and sure Adam might have some money but working as exec at a small shoe company he is making 120k a year TOPS Kristina is a stay at home mom providing no income. They have a child on the autism spectrum, a teenage daughter going to college and his own mortage there is no way he can afford to float his dad that kinda of money. Maybe he went to Julia because she and Joel seem to be doing really well. Although I dont think with Zeke would allow himself to ask his youngest daughter for money. Clearly Sarah and Crosby cant help here because they are broke as shit.

So how does Zeke afford these property taxes ???
