Round 1
1. Bullets (from Bobcats)
Yao Ming C 7'6' 310 22 B+ C C- B B A
Yao Ming C 22 7'6'' 310 B+ C C- B B+ A (+1)
Not a big jump for Yao that you'd like to see, but his starting grades are such that he can still be at least functional while TC and some upgrades improve the defense and rebounding stats.
2. Bobcats (from Trailblazers via Bullets)
Caron Butler SF 6'7'' 228 22 B B- C B- B- B
Caron Butler SF 22 6'7'' 228 B+ B C B B- C (+3, -1 potential)
Odin didn't like this TC at all, but I don't see the issue. The biggest need Caron has now is points in his jumper, some natural growth in his 3 point shot, and maybe some investment in his stocks. For all we know, the drop in potential could be a mirage. He has all the looks of a solid wing prospect after his preseason.
3. Heat
Amar'e Stoudemire PF 6'10'' 245 20 B+ C D+ C+ B- A
Amar'e Stoudemire C 20 6'10'' 250 B+ C D+ B- B- A (+1)
This really did nothing to help shed light on the great shout mystery of which prospect Canes allegedly scouted. If Amare really did have higher potential than Soup, his first TC certainly didn't reflect it. Fortunately, he's still got a chance to become a player, just needs some good future TC's on the D/R.
4. Mavericks
Salado Valarado III PF 7'1'' 260 21 B+ C- C- B B B
Salado Valarado III C 21 7'1'' 265 B+ C C- A- B+ B (+4)
What a stud. Soup 3.0 improves in all the right places and can be an immediate starter for a likely fringe contender in Dirt. The only thing that would make me question the long-term future of this prospect is if I were to start to get drunken voicemails from him at 4am.
5. Bobcats (from Suns)
Tayshaun Prince SF 6'9'' 212 22 B- B- C B C+ B
Tayshaun Prince SF 22 6'9'' 212 B- B- C B C+ A (+1 potential)
Not a great TC for Prince. Based on his preseason, his defense is probably good enough to play up even at a B grade, but you'd really like to see some improvement in the scoring grades for him to have a future as a high-level starter.
6. Thunder
Phil Ford 2.0 PG 6'2'' 175 21 C+ B B B- D+ B
Phil Ford 2.0 PG 21 6'2'' 180 B- B B- B C- A (+2, +1 potential).
This is a good enough TC for GBG to sit him right on the IR and lose him in Free Agency four seasons from now.
7. Trailblazers (from Bullets)
Jason Williams PG 6'2'' 195 21 B- B- B- B- C- A
Jason Williams PG 21 6'2'' 195 B B B B C- A (+4)
Before the draft, Williams' stock was in the dumps because of perceived issues with his jumper and handling. It remains to be seen if those issues will manifest on the sim courts, but this is definitely an encouraging first TC for the hopeful heir to the PG throne of the Blazers held by past greats like Steph Curry and Gilbert Arenas.
8. Spurs
Fred Dilworth SG 6'5'' 205 21 B- B C+ B- C+ D
Fred Dilworth SG 21 6'5'' 205 C+ B C+ B- C C (-2, +1 potential)
9. Mavericks (from Magic)
Dajuan Wagner PG 6'2'' 200 20 B- B- C+ C+ D+ A
Dajuan Wagner PG 20 6'2'' 200 B B+ C+ B- D A (+3)
Wagner puts together a very good looking TC for GM Dirtsoup and could potentially be the successor to Henderson as he ages.
10. Nets (fromClippers)
Mike Dunleavy SF 6'9'' 230 22 B- B- C+ B- C+ B
Mike Dunleavy SF 22 6'9'' 230 B- B C+ B+ C+ B (+3)
Mike Dunleavy defies all of Herb's TC expectations and actually improves! This guy isn't Zeke Bellamy and 20's loves white perimeter guys (see: Van Horn, Keith and others I can't think of right now) so we probably should've seen this coming.
11. Nets (from Bucks)
Nikoloz Tskitishvili PF 7'0'' 225 19 B- C+ C- C+ B- A
Nikoloz Tskitishvili SF 19 7'1'' 230 B- B C- B B A (+5)
The first of three +5 TC's in this draft and the one people probably were more likely to anticipate. I think everyone expected something like this out of Greek Sauce (not to be confused with Pacers PG Hot Sauce). What remains to be seen is if the tantalizing grades and potential will turn into production on the court. The sky is the limit for this prospect, and Herb should definitely be excited about his stable of young wings.
12. Thunder (from Cavaliers)
Julius Peppers PF 6'7''270 22 B- D+ D B- B+ B
Julius Peppers PF 22 6'7'' 270 C+ D+ D B A- B (+1)
The -1 in inside definitely doesn't hurt since Peppers appears to be nothing more than a D/R big, but he has the potential to be a good one starting out with B A- grades.
13. Thunder (from Bulls)
Carlos Boozer PF 6'9'' 258 21 B C D C+ B B
Carlos Boozer PF 21 6'9'' 258 B C D C+ B+ B (+1)
This is an underwhelming TC and the exact type of big that doesn't have a lot of value in this league. What a shame for GBG because Boozer could be an interesting prospect if all-offense bigs were a thing in TMBSL 4.0.
14. Hawks
Nenê Hilário C 6'11'' 250 20 B D+ D+ B- B- A
Nenê Hilário C 20 6'11'' 250 B- C- C- B- B- A (+1)
Nene has a weird TC after being traded to Ank, going -1 in inside scoring but +1 in outside and handling. It's unclear what type of big Nene might be in this league.
15. Lakers
Jiri Welsch SF 6'7'' 208 22 C+ B- C+ C+ C A
Jiri Welsch SF 22 6'7'' 208 C+ B C+ B- C A (+2)
After a +2 bump in TC, GMs Ian and Dumptime were pretty certain that Ian had scored on drafting a commish special post-lottery. The preseason makes that pretty uncertain, however.
16. Celtics
Bostjon Nachbar SF 6'9'' 221 22 C+ B- C- C+ C+ B
Bostjon Nachbar SF 22 6'9'' 221 C+ B- D+ C+ C+ B (-1)
What is there to be said about this pick that shouldn't have been said at 2.25 and then in the 2nd round cuts thread?
17. Thunder (from SuperSonics)
Udonis Haslem PF 6'8'' 235 22 B C- D C+ B B
Udonis Haslem PF 22 6'8'' 235 B C- D B- B B (+1)
Another underwhelming big prospect for GBG. A little worrisome that in the first year of his tank he's now tied his cap up with a bunch of mediocre bigs for the next four years, but hey, what do I know, I'm paying Cornell Green a max.
18. Pacers
Hot Sauce PG 6'1'' 190 21 C+ C B+ B- D+ A
Hot Sauce PG 21 6'1'' 190 B- C A- B+ D+ B (+4, -1 potential)
An encouraging TC for young Mr. Sauce, but I worry JW will never invest enough into his outside game to keep Mr. Sauce from getting lost in the sauce.
19. Celtics (from Knicks)
A O SG 6'3'' 185 23 C+ B- B- B- C- B
A O PG 23 6'3'' 185 B- B- B+ B+ C- B (+5)
Dump managed to find the one And-1 guy that everyone speculated would blow up in TC. His big TC made him PG eligible and Dump may have a future starter on his hands here late in the first. Definitely a much better pick than Boston Nachobar.
20. Kings
Chris Wilcox PF 6'10'' 221 20 B D+ D+ B- B A
Chris Wilcox C 20 6'10'' 221 B D+ D+ C+ B A (-1)
This class was brutal in the big department outside of the elite guys at the top. Yet another disappointment like Nene, Boozer, Haslem before him. Unfortantely there weren't guys like Blount, Cato, and Foyle in this class that had the build that could step in and be D/R guys right away.
21. Hawks (from Warriors via Thunder)
Nenad Krstic PF 7'0'' 240 19 B- C D C+ B- A
Nenad Krstic C 19 7'1'' 240 B- C D+ B B A (+3)
The only thing that makes Krstic remotely interesting is that he's 19 with A potential. With B B grades in scoring he's got a ways to go to be a viable D/R option either and it will be interesting to see how his scoring develops with B- C starting grades. Will he turn into an efficient low-volume option a la Kaman or regress in inside to a C+ C type player like Zarko?
22. Timberwolves
Fred Jones SG 6'4" 210 23 B B C+ C+ C C
Fred Jones SG 23 6'4'' 215 B B B- C+ C C (+1)
Fred's handles go up by 1 and he looks like he may be right on the verge of being worth looking at making PG eligible. I worry how much he'll continue to develop though with C potential.
23. Trailblazers (from Grizzlies)
Jamal Sampson C 6'11'' 235 19 C+ D+ D+ C+ C+ A
Jamal Sampson C 19 6'11'' 235 C+ C- D+ C+ C+ A (+1)
Well his outside went up by 1 so...that's good....I guess?
24. Clippers (from Nets)
Drew Gooden PF 6'10'' 250 21 B C C- B- B+ B
Drew Gooden PF 21 6'10'' 255 B+ C C- B B+ B (+2)
Maybe the most interesting big prospect outside of the top 5...Gooden has the scoring grades to be an asset (or at least not a liability) on offense and could potentially be a serviceable player on defense as well with B B+ grades. Great pick by Yawn this late and likely only dropped because people hate him.
25. Bullets (from Raptors)
Frank Williams PG 6'3' 212 22 C+ B- B- C+ C- B
Frank Williams PG 22 6'3'' 212 C+ B B+ C+ C- B (+3)
Solid TC for the late first round PG prospect for the Bullets. Outside and handles improvements are always welcome for PGs.
26. Bullets (from Jazz via Clippers)
xX Escalade Xx C 6'10'385 22 B C- C- B- B C
xX Escalade Xx C 22 6'10'' 385 B C- C- B- B+ C (+1)
Was hoping for more out of xoxoxEscaladexoxox but I'm still excited to see what kind of production he puts up behind the twin towers of the Bullets.
27. Hawks (from 76ers)
Matt Barnes SF 6'7'' 226 22 C+ C+ C B C+ B
Matt Barnes SF 22 6'7'' 226 B- C+ C B+ C+ B (+2)
Solid but unspectacular TC. Has the look of a potential D/R wing that could fill Gerald Wallace's role in the future. Interested to see his production in summer league.
28. Hawks (from Rockets via Lakers via 76ers)
Juan Carlos Navarro PG 6'3'' 170 22 C B B- C+ D B
Juan Carlos Navarro PG 22 6'3'' 170 C A- B+ B- D C (+5, -1 potential)
Great TC for the Spanish PG. I was hoping 20s would have a soft spot for a player many consider one of the best to never have an extended NBA career. Hopefully he can continue to improve despite the drop in potential.
29. Hawks (from Hornets via Raptors)
Scoonie Sharman SF 6'7'' 243 20 B- A- C+ C+ C- B
Scoonie Sharman SG 20 6'7'' 243 B- A- C+ B- C- B (+1)
What have we here, an interesting software player that didn't bust to shit? It certainly looks like it after preseason.
Round 2
1. Suns (from Trailblazers)
Juan Dixon SG 6'3'' 164 24 C+ B C+ B C C
Juan Dixon SG 24 6'3'' 164 C+ B- C+ B C C (-1)
This is what a second round sleeper lock looks like, gentlemen.
2. Heat
Melvin Ely C 6'10'' 260 24 B C- D B B C
Melvin Ely C 24 6'10'' 260 B- C- D+ B B C (even)
3. Bobcats
Reggie Evans C 6'8'' 24522 C+ D+ D C+ B+ C
Reggie Evans C 22 6'8'' 245 B- D+ D C+ A- C (+2)
Could potentially be a useful player depending on what the blocks look like.
4. Hornets (from Mavericks)
Kareem Rush SG 6'6'' 215 22 B- B C C C B
Kareem Rush SG 22 6'6'' 215 B- B C B C B (+3)
Kareem Rush is suddenly a very interesting prospect after a surprising +3 on defense. With another good TC in defense and outside and some TC's he would definitely have the grades to be a backup wing or even a potential fringe starter. Unfortunately doesn't look like he's got a lot of volume on his shots based on preseason.
5. Trailblazers (from Suns)
John Salmons SG 6'7'' 210 23 C+ B- B- B- C+ C
John Salmons SG 23 6'7'' 210 C+ C+ B- B- C C (-2)
Woof.
6. Bullets (from Thunder)
Jared Jeffries SF 6'11' 230 21 B C C- B- B- B
Jared Jeffries SF 21 6'11'' 230 B C C- B- B- C (-1 potential)
7. Bullets

Marcus Haislip SF 22 6'10'' 230 B C D B C+ A (+2)
8. Lakers (from Magic)
Ryan Humphrey PF 6'8'' 235 23 B- D C- B B C
Ryan Humphrey C 23 6'8'' 235 B- D+ C- B+ B+ C (+3)
This guy has all the makings of a future 1 year, minimum signing by the Knicks.
9. Spurs
The Professor PG 5'10'' 155 20 C B- A- C D B
The Professor PG 20 5'10'' 155 C B A- C D B (+1)

Luis Scola PF 6'9'' 240 22 B- C- D+ C+ B- B
Luis Scola PF 22 6'9'' 240 B C- D+ C+ B A (+2, +1 potential)
Interesting TC for a 2.22 pick but it likely won't mean much with his poor defensive grade.
23. Timberwolves
Jannero Pargo PG 6'1' 175 23 C+ B C C+ D B
Jannero Pargo PG 23 6'1'' 175 C+ B+ C B- D+ C (+2, -1 potential)

Allen Montana PG 21 6'2'' 182 C C+ A- A- D C (even)
I was really hoping to see some scoring improvement here so we could have an interesting pick this late in the draft, but he stagnated.
27. Jazz
