Also, this thread is a perfect example of why the rule for posting in a trade thread before acceptance is frowned upon. Overreaction leads to unnecessary drama.

I'm still struggling to understand player values if this trade is worse than Bogut Taureen Ulis and King + Knicks 47 and Nets 48.
Is OG not worth more than Ulis and Knicks 47?

I think this is a fair deal Billy. No one has posted anything they offered you that looks close in value except maybe Fason's picks if that's a real offer and OG is having a good year. He may be a tough resign but he also may offer a below market resign. It's a gamble.

OG is expiring and someone heebs probably isn't even looking to retain after this year, Taureen and Ulis are players that will sit in FA for entire seasons.

It was in the rules section but 20s said it was never enforced and therefore not a rule. That is why I said it was frowned upon and not a rule.

It was in the rules section but 20s said it was never enforced and therefore not a rule. That is why I said it was frowned upon and not a rule. I deleted it a long time ago and it wouldn't have made a difference in this case as even if Billy accepted this I wasn't letting it go through as is. What is really making this thread worse is you trying to mount up for every player you are trading Billy. Just amending the trade to something that makes more sense for him is the most effective solution.

All the people who complained this wasn't enough please send me an offer that is. I acknowledge my ignorance, but this was definitely the best offer I received.

No, why do you think you need to trade him this season?
Offseason lasts like a week, you can sign him either during resignings or in free agency and trade him then and probably get better offers.

People in shout told me multiple times, possibly even you, that he would be less valuable on a 2nd huge contract because it looks bad to trade. My experience in other leagues mirrors this experience, no one wants a 32 year old player on a 100 million dollar deal.

And you think the market will be better for him? I don't see why it would be. Anything you're telling me about resigning him would apply to whomever traded for him, right? What happens between now and then that will increase his value? If anything not having him for this half a season and playoffs at age 32 should decrease his value...

I would generally ignore Ian. He is full of hot takes and is not good at sim league.
