In BK's defense, I dont think the market was that great for Ewing. He doesnt rebound or block at an elite level and only contenders want him. Most contenders already have their D/R bigs and dont want to give a lot up for a small upgrade their that would take shots away from their actual scorers. Career Averages: 13.6 rpg (yes he is having a down year SO FAR) 3.6 bpg (but he is having his best year yet at 4.1 bpg) Not to mention he consistently gets 1+ spg and as a big that is insanely good but yeah he doesn't do those things at an elite level sit the fuck down and learn. even MJ won one title in 4.0. |

For instance, I offered Pau, my 50 1st and Ron Mercer for Ewing but was reluctant to give up anything more because he actually blocks less shots than Pau and Rebounds less than Pau. He is better, but he wasnt worth selling the future off to get better efficiency at the C position while sacrificing blocks and rebounds. Especially when he is 32 and an expiring, so no guarantee you get him next year. Also, clearly the market wasn't that great for Ewing if that is the best trade offer he got. That is a garbage offer and no wonder your team will die off in the near future if you think like the way you do |

I offered Ike, Martell, Barnes and 2 firsts for Ewing
I advised Billy take Heebs deal with more picks because it was better and I wasn't going to come back and include all my prospects in the deal like he wanted
I never said Ike was good just that I thought his poor efficiency was an outlier and I thought it would bounce back.

The picks are a wash. Zaza vs OG is pretty close. I mean Zaza is "a 23 year old with A- / A- d/r grades and A potential". I guess he gets Bogut in your deal so it's a little better. But he doesn't have to take on Taurean Prince's salary either.

I didn't even initiate the offer numbnuts.
he asked in shout if either me or odin is interested in ewing, asked me about zaza and picks and I told him "yea that's about the best I could do" and threw an offer that matched salaries.
At no point did I try to sell him to take my offer over anyone else's and I certainly didn't start off with trying to pass off a bumfuck like Ulis as an asset.
