- Elite tools as a rim protector. Still needs polish, but Bamba projects as a shot-blocking machine. - Strong physical traits for his size in terms of quickness and bounce. Strength is a work in progress, however. - Strong rebounder as well with his size/anticipation. But would not classify him as elite here. - Knows his limitation and how he fits into the team concept. Not one to try to do too much with the ball in his hands Weaknesses
- Lacks polish and refinement skill-wise. - Jump shot is not busted, but he's merely average here. Does not shoot 3's at all. Free throw percentage hovers around 70% as a prep prospect. - Has not exhibited much ability in the post when playing against size. Not going to create his own looks with any efficiency - Not as tough as he needs to be in post defense. He can be out-muscled. Summary
- Exciting prospect as he should fill the box score defensively while not holding back the offense too much. - Not polished skill-wise, so may take some time to reach his ceiling. But certainly has potential to grow. - Surefire top 5 pick with top 2 upside |

His summit was really disappointing. Sometimes I say things that are not based in reason, this is one of them. In my head, I had Bamba getting like 8 blocks a game and 15 boards while not shooting at all. He just played alright. |
