A true center, Tai is a tough guard down low. He has good inside moves and is strong enough to push defenders around on the block. He is an adequate free throw shooter, which is good because he'll get to the line a lot. He is a good, but not elite, shot blocker. Despite his limited vertical, his tremendous box out fundamentals and strength make him a good rebounder. Although scouts have good reporting on his HS and AAU careers, his limited playing time during his freshman year make it hard to see how well he's developing: his potential is unknown and scouts are giving him the "I don't know" B.
