Lamont has the makings of a great two-way big man. He has a developed inside game and the strength to finish through contact. If there is a complaint about his offensive game it is that he is a poor free throw shooter. He is a good post defender that will block shots, although he is not expected to be an elite shot blocker. He is an above average rebounder for being a 20 year old. Scouts agree that the sky is the limit for Hawkins if he is committed to basketball.
