My day 2 initial vote is Majic as mafia, reasoning being that he is one of the more active shouters yet he hasn't posted much in this thread 1. Majic spoke out against voting for Billy 2 days ago 2. The final vote ended like this 5 Billy King - Soup, 20s, JHB, SPL, GBG 5 SPL - Odin, Billy King, Majic, Yawn, Heebs 1 Yawn - eric 1 GBG - Delap 1 JHB - Pete Throwing out the weird votes (although those could be red herrings since there was a ground swell against BK for what seem like personal dislike) 2 of the 5 people who voted for SPL are dead, that leaves the remaining 4 as our prime suspects. 20s is doing a really cute job of being blatantly mafia, but because of this eagerness to vote on false pretenses I'm voting for GBG burn in hell mafia scum
I am willing to bet the 3 mafia are not going to be Eric, Delap or Pete. The 3 have to be in the 10 votes (8 remaining) in the Billy King and SPL votes. Knowing that I am not mafia, I am going to double down with Yawn and go with his guess of GBG

not understanding this logic, me speaking up for BK was because i truly didnt think he was Mafia and could have been a huge help to us civilians additionally SPL has been more active which at least makes you wonder, hence the initial vote given we know nothing else, which leads me to think those voting for SPL had similar suspicion and wanted him out if BK could have been a help to all of us civilians he is a prime target for the mafia along with having an "easy" excuse: personal dislike It is called post count pading |

Not accusing you of anything, just trying to understand: what would be the point of not lynching anyone if we want to defeat the mafia? It's my understanding this is our only chance to take mafia members out. Is there another way to kill mafia other than the daily vote? If not, we have to pick someone as it is our only chance to win. We're in a much better position with more people alive than dead and based on what happened in Day 1 I don't feel comfortable about voting anyone out because I don't really have a good read on anyone. Voting for BK yesterday was a mistake.
I think based on what happens on Day 2 and then reacting to the killings to see if the mafia eliminate a "threat" may give use more insight and we're better equipped to do that down 3 townpeople than 4 imo.
The town still has a 7 on 3 advantage.
I'd rather have a 6 on 3 advantage on Day 3 than risk 5 on 3 for a small chance we hit 6 on 2 with no info.
If we don't vote, the mafia still kills an innocent each night. So, basically we need to vote for someone or slowly allow the mafia to pick us off. |

If citizens don't vote, then the mafia essentially gets to kill off two people a day. not necessarily. If citizens decided not to vote and people started voting anyway, they'd be prime mafia suspects. So they'd probably abstain as well and just pick people off during the night without fear of outing themselves |
