Who would have known that Ankyl, habitual rule line stepped, would be so anal about rules once he has a little power?

There are degrees to rules violations. Please believe when I say I'm trying to be lenient here, but if a rules violation hurts balance that requires me to be strict. I'm not mad about it though. Admin deaths happen sometimes. I do think the rule as posted pretty clearly prohibits what you did, but I will write that out even more clearly going forward. there are different degrees to violations sure, but there's only one degree of punishment. everything is the same if it is policed the same. This argument sounds like it is out of the playbook of defending Alabama recruiting violations

i mean if what i posted doesn't convince you i'm not mafia then it can't be done. kill me. And this is why I had to drop the axe, unfortunately. Posting the pm was rather rock solid evidence that your were indeed a civ. Mainly because you did not receive a Civ pm in game 1.

Who would have known that Ankyl, habitual rule line stepper, would be so anal about rules once he has a little power? I think Ankly is just trying to manage a game that is fair and fun. Despite my snarky shouts, I think he's done a good job of taking feedback from the players after game 1 and implementing changes without making administrating the game a democracy.

It would also be really easy to just edit something to look like a civ PM.

Really not too peeved with Odin. This was bound to happen at some point, and I really didn't perceive what Odin did as malicious at all. Sucks but it happens.
He can obviously play in game 3 if he wishes.
But in any case, let's move on. It's done.

This makes Herb look pretty questionable at this point since he was railing so hard against odin That was always the risk. I figured if I was wrong I'd be killed day 2. I stand by my logic though. I genuinely don't understand how Odin goes from "we killed Heebs first because we wanted to get rid of the most competent people early" to being a civilian and voting for me day 1. My theory is out of the water and I am voting for TimPig unless someone, through their actions or words, convinces me otherwise.

Also, in case it helps other civilians, I am hereby making my vote for Odin irrevocable even though it could save my skin to switch to TimPig. I acknowledge 20s logic, which I think is solid, for the TimPig vote. But I think where we have a logical reason to affirmatively believe a player is mafia, we shouldn't use the "least helpful" model to determine who is executed. I guess irrevocable doesn't mean what it used to.

he saw Odin's civ PM, so he did see A civ pm I'm talking about how he said "it would be really easy to just edit something to look like a civ PM" which means he thought it was possible Odin wrote that himself. Sure you could make your own, but it wouldn't be the same as the one ank sends unless you have seen what he sends. That means: - He didn't realize what Odin posted matched exactly what the civ PM was
- He didn't get a civ PM this game
I could obviously be wrong and fecta did get a civ PM this time and still thinks someone who has never seen a civ PM could just edit one to look like the one ank sends, but this reveal of info makes me think there is a real chance fecta did not get a civ PM this round. And he was in my tier 4 of noobs anyway, so I see no risk in switching from TimPig to him.
