3048 End of Season
MVP
1. Lebron JamesMVP
-Led the league in scoring at 35.9 PPG while shooting 51.1% overall and 42.5% on threes. HIs rebounding and the amount of penises he put in his butt decreased but he’s still one of the better defensive players in the league.
2. Rashard Lewis
-Had his typical season that we’ve grown accustomed to, this is getting boring with Lebron and Lewis as the two best players in the league. Save us T-Mac from this monotony.
3. Tyronn Lue
-Speaking of monotony, another season where Lue averages 30 and is one of the best two-way players in the league.
4. Luke Ridnour
-Ridnour was always good but this year he finally became elite. He really carried my team all season and getting him more shots was part of the reason I traded Havlicek and Bosh.
5. Tracy McGrady
-Had a great year, carrying the Raptors while Fultz/Arenas missed 28 combined games. Was third in the leauge in scoring averaging 32.4 PPG, grabbing 9 RPG and playing solid defense.
t6. Chauncey Billups
-Best player on the team with the best record in the league. He shot just about 50% and averaged 28 PPG on a very balanced team.
t6. Frank Ntilikina
-I probably wouldn’t have included him had the Hawks not just won the title but he had a really good year. His offense caught up to his defense, he’s only 25 could be a mainstay in these MVP rankings.
Most Improved
-So this what fatherhood feels like, I’m so proud. PF2’s PPG went from 18.7 to 27.1 and FG% from 44.4% to 47.6%. Next year we’ll improve on those 3.3 TOPG.1. Chris Morris
-I talked a lot about him the last rankings. Morris has become one of the best SGs in the league in only year two. He doubled his PPG to 28.2 while improving his FG% from 44.5% to 48%. He and Frank form one of the best backcourts in the league, both are under 25 and combine to make just over 9 mil a year, congrats JHB.
* This was such a horrible trade and can now be added to MJ’s vast collection of greatest hits. lolwrongtmbsl.proboards.com/thread/13666/2160-hawks-magic
2. Tony Wroten
- Wroten’s now one of the best PGs in the league on the offensive end. His numbers went up across the board with starter's minutes, he went from 16.5 PPG to 28.4 PPG while improving his FG% to 48% and 3P% to 39.8%.
3. Phil Ford 2.0

3. Phil Ford 2.0
4. Nenad Kristic
-Another Hawk, JHB either tampered with the file or deer antler spray is being abused in Atlanta. Kristic became one of the better shot blockers in the league going from .7 BPG in 12.1 MPG to 3.5 BPG in 31.9 MPG. He’s also a true D/R big in how he rarely shoots.
5. Josh Jackson
-Taco sure took some heat for this trade lolwrongtmbsl.proboards.com/thread/14004/2208-nuggets-warriors but he looks like a genius now after Jackson had the best season of his career. His PPG went from 22.1 to 28.2, FG% from 45.7% to 47.4%, 3P% from 41% to 42.9% and TOs from 2.6 to 2.3. He and Doncic should be one of the better wing duos in the league for the remainder of Doncic’s rookie deal.
6. Thon Maker
-Went from discarded trash in that Monta Ellis trade to a solid D/R big. He upped his BPG to 3.5 from 2.5 and RPG to 13.2 from 9.4 RPG.
HM. Tracy McGrady
-First player to make this list two years in a row. In three seasons, he’s gone from disappointing to good to a superstar. He’s gaining ground and nearly on the same level as Rashard Lewis and Lebron James.
DPOY
1. Gerald Wallace-1.7 SPG. 3.0 BPG and 9.3 RPG
2. MKG
-2.5 SPG, 2.4 BPG and 6.9 RPG
3. Crowder
-1.7 SPG, 2.8 BPG and 7.7 RPG
t4. Kris Dunn
-3.1 SPG, .5 BPG and 5.7 RPG
t4. Tyronn Lue
-2.6 SPG, 1.0 BPG and 4.3 RPG
5. Chandler Chandler
-1.2 SPG, 3.7 BPG and 13.3 RPG
Best Players Under the Radar
1. Steve Kerr-He was great in the 14.1 minutes he got a game, averaging 9.5 PPG while shooting 48.5% on threes and 49.5% overall. The B+ outside grade and career FT% of 83% means he probably isn’t at an elite level yet. He still has two years left on his rookie deal and is definitely Pete’s PG of the future, possibly even beginning this upcoming season.
2. Jiri Welsch
-In 19 minutes, Welsch averaged 9.2 PPG, 3.7 RPG, .8 SPG, .3 BPG, shot 50.2% overall and 41% on threes. He still has +10 left, he could be a nice trade asset for Ian if his cap gets tight because Welsch deserves to get paid next offseason.
3. Mo Williams
-Eric found another one Williams was really solid in his limited minutes, averaging 10 PPG and shooting 48%. Lee is still good but 35, Williams should see more PT next season.
4. Scott Pollard
-A good D/R big that averaged 1.3 BPG and 4.5 RPG in just 13.6 MPG, he’s only averaged 11.6 for his career. Heebs seemed to really be going out of his way to hide him, hopefully he gets some more PT now that he resigned or #FreeScottPollard may be the new #FreePhilFord.
5. Antonio Daniels
-Daniels only played 8.3 MPG in just 33 games, since he was buried behind Gerald Henderson and Dajuan Wagner on the Mavs DC. He was pretty impressive in those 8 minutes though, averaging only 4.3 PPG but on 52.6% shooting overall, 86.7% from the line and 48.3% on threes. He hasn’t played consistent minutes since his rookie year so it’s a bit hard to tell how good he is on defense and as a rebounder. He wasn’t terrible when he was the Mavs starting PG during last preseason, he has all of his upgrades left so he still has a high upside.
Top Free Agents
1. Chauncey Billups-Clear top FA that everyone with the space will and should max. He should put whoever he signs with in title contention if he leaves LA.
2. Marvin Williams
-One of the better SFs in the league and only 29. He’s one of the few SFs that can score 25-30 a game. He isn’t a superstar and isn’t worth that second max but he should get big offers from teams looking for a legit scoring option.
3. Jarrett Allen
-Another Laker (Sorry not sorry Ian, your players are good and it’s cutthroat out here in the Pacific) Allen’s coming off a great season where he averaged 6.4 PPG, 11.5 RPG, 1.4 SPG, 3.4 BPG and only 1.0 TOPG while shooting 45.8%. No D/R big is worth a max but Allen definitely deserves to be one the highest paid.
4. Monta Ellis
-I don’t expect Tim to accept that resign. The Spurs have made three straight finals appearances so Ellis has to be pretty good. His numbers were respectably close to John Havlicek’s who people are still really high on.
5. Mikki Moore
-He’s 26, a good shot blocker and rebounder but he’s terrible on offense. He probably deserves something a little more than the MLE and whoever signs him should work on improving his jumper so he shoots closer to 40%.
6. Chandler Chandler
-DPOY candidate that probably deserves a raise from his previous contract.
7. Prince
-32 but still has a few good years left. Would be a good 3-4 year signing for somebody that needs an immediate upgrade at PG.
8. Damian Lillard
-33 but still has a couple good years left. Would be a good 2-3 year signing for somebody that needs an immediate upgrade at PG.
*Germany eligible
9. Antonio Daniels
-I like him, he looks like one of those players that needed time to develop and still has all of his upgrades. Fellas, let’s please not allow somebody like Eric or Ank to get him for the MLE or a cheap long-term deal.
10. Wayne Hightower
-30 year old D/R big that is probably worth the MLE or a little above.
Draft Prospects
1. Bryant Crawford 20 PG 6'3" 185 Wake Forest B- B B- B- C+ A-Clear number one prospect in this draft. Those grades are equal to Penny Hardaway’s. The C+ rebounding is big for a point guard. Profile indicates he’ll be a huge scorer but doesn’t say much about his defense. Only concerns would be the unknown blocks/steals and turnover issues.
2. Tres Tinkle 22 F 6'8" 220 Oregon State B B- C B- B- B
-Top wing prospect in this draft. Profile makes it sound like he’ll be one of those do it all wings that averages 25 PPG, 8 RPG. 2 SPG, 1 BPG while shooting well. His points will need to dedicated to his strength and handles. Clear number two prospect.
3. Glynn Watson 22 PG 6'0" 175 Nebraska C B B- B- D+ B
-Tyronn Lue 21 PG 6'0'' 175 Nebraska C+ B- B- B- D+ B
t4. Danjel Purifoy 22 SF 6'7" 225 Auburn C+ B C+ B C B / Danjel Purifoy 20 SF 6'7" 210 Auburn B- B- D+ B- C+ B
-I guess this is a George Foreman situation where every child in the Purifoy family is named Danjel and is forced to go to Auburn. These two could be the best sibling pair since the Harrison twins. I like Danjel Purifoy 1.0’s defense and three-point shooting, he’s also a good athlete. With some points put into his inside scoring he could be a really good SG. Danjel Purifoy 2.0 looks like a more traditional SF.
5. Jalen Brunson 22 PG 6'2" 200 Villanova B- B C+ C+ D+ A
-Great scoring grades with a good write-up and sounds like he has some good potential on defense. He may end up being one of those sub 4 RPG PGs that some people don’t like.
6. Jaren Jackson Jr. 21 C 6'10" 230 Michigan State B B- C- B- C+ A
-Interesting big prospect with the B- outside grade. The grades and write-up make me think he could become a player similar to Dirk and Bosh who are two of the best bigs in the league. Only issue is since he’s 21 he won’t be getting the teenage TC that they had.
7. Tai Wynward 19 C 6'10" 263 Kentucky B C- C- B- B- B
-Solid grades and he is only 19. The low jumping means he should be a decent scorer. He could be good with some kind shot blocking TCs.
8. Maverick Rowan 23 SG 6'7" 210 NC State C+ A- C- C+ D+ B
-His write up makes me think he’ll end up like Kyle Korver with more scoring volume. The D+ rebounding is concerning and means he really can’t play SF unless you’re okay with only 5 RPG.
9. Tacko Fall 20 C 7'6" 300 UCF B+ D+ D B- B- A
-I like his size and potential but fear he’ll end like Hasheem Thabeet where he takes 20 shots a game and shoots around 40%. He should start with high shot blocking, who knows how that will translate to his BPG since heavyreign decided taller players would block less shots. Look at Yao’s stats, he’s blocking less than 3 shots a game.
10. Antonio Blakeney 21 SG 6'4" 175 LSU B B- C- C+ C- B
-I like him as a long-term prospect because of the jumping and profile indicates he should have high potential. Those grades remind me of Harold Miner’s, whoever drafts Blakeney will need to be patient
tHM- Coop Cooper 23 SG 6'0" 180 C+ A F C+ C- B / Doug Remer 23 SG 6'0" 180 C+ A F C+ C- B
-I’m not really a fan of either of these prospects due to their size, handles and low rebounding. Unlike J-Mac from last year’s class these two have no shot to play PG. They should go in the late teens or early 20s but will probably be picked in the late lotto since there aren’t many recognizable names in this class. Also, Basektball does not hold up well, not Trey and Matt's best effort.
