what i said was i would always announce when i was mafia. this helps the people on my team 70% (or so) of the time and hurts them 30% of the time. what you're doing is hurting the people on your team 70% of the time and not helping them the other 30% because the mafia would be targeting me anyway. 70% - 30% > -70% so what this tells me is 30% of the time you throw the game. in pretty much any team game if you spend 30% of the time throwing you will be banned. ANK1990Exactly.

While Eric's play style is insulting to our intelligence, those three votes for him are incredibly anti-town at this point in the game and I would encourage those voting for him to change their votes so it isn't misconstrued and incorrectly held against you later in the game. It would be bad for us as a town if we not only voted a known civ out but then wasted rounds on those who voted for him later thinking they were mafia. Eric's play style is what it is at this point and it isn't illegal, so don't dig the town a deeper hole because it rubs you the wrong way. The only way to stop Eric from being an asshole is to make him lose when he is an asshole.

Continuing to harp on Eric during day 1 only hurts the town as it takes the focus off of the game. At this point everyone's perspective is on record. Ankly has heard the case against Eric's strategy. Let's save the debate for now and focus on the game at hand.

Let's save the debate for now and focus on the game at hand. I don't care about helping the town. I want the town to lose so Eric loses. I'm a civ, and I will vote for no one but Eric every day of every game. You'll have to waste a Lynch on me because of it, thus forcing Eric to likely lose more games and hopefully stop being such a cunt. We only have to do this a couple times to get him to stop. The threat of forcing him to lose when he is town is our only hope.

BK . Anyone actively trying to get the town to lose is worth a vote in my eyes.

Looking at what has happened thus far, I am highly suspicious of Soup and/or 20s. I think there is a high probability that one or both or maybe one with a combination of Pete are Mafia. They jump on what has been statically an easy early target to not gain suspicion. If I am voted out, you will find out I am a civ and you know where your eyes should look.

The idea here is that Eric has told the truth so far in every game, even when he was Mafia, so therefore we should all trust him when he says he's a civilian. Many people feel that he's defeating the purpose of the game by admitting his allegiance every time.

The first game of mafia eric was mafia and admitted he was mafia, never claimed to be a civilian. Since then he has claimed that since he admitted to being mafia then he can be trusted when he claims to be civilian. In the two games since he was mafia he has not lied, and was a civilian both times. We don't know 100% because we only have one data point of eric being mafia and admitting he is mafia.
