All Division Teams
Stipulations
Tried to make these few and straight forward. One player from each team must be represented, no more than two starters from any team and no more than 3 players from any team. There will be two separate teams, the best possible teams, and the best teams that fit the salary cap (Article will be coming soon).
The seeding is based on the playoff champions last year Midwest gets the overall one seed, Celtics the other one, and each remaining division the 2 seed.
Current injuries do not matter.

The Central benefits from only having one bottomed out tanker (Cavs). This team is weaker in the front court with little depth behind Kareem and Washington/McGinnis. Billy Paultz is finally turning it around after having a god awful start to the season, he managed to sneak in there as the 2nd C. Washington starting over McGinnis is very controversial. In Washington's first bad performance he would be benched. Washington is starting because of his recent improvement once I pumped 11 points into his scoring. His percentages should be a bit better (Increased 2 PPG and 2 FG% last sim), and his A defense. That B- for McGinnis is doing fine for the Bulls, put in an all division clash and he will be exploited. The front court players are fantastic, depth and defense all the way through. Being able to start 2 of the top 5 scorers in the league is a luxury, their replacements are more than adequate too.

Only the Nets and the Celtics are trying to win in the Atlantic. It's the best 3 players from the Nets, and Celtics then the best young guys the tankers have acquired. The toughest decision was whether to take Campy or ML Carr as the third player from the Nets. Settled on Carr because he starts at SG for the Nets and this team desperately needs one. Moses gets the slight nod over Lanier, he puts up more BPG/RPG/APG and slightly more PPG on solid percentages too, albeit not as well as Lanier. Alvan Adams is the nucleus of the team. This team lack depth, all the tankers contribute players with great stats, but would get abused in a win now situation.

This team is godly. All will fall in their wake. They will pound you down low, crush you with size, and shoot better than marky mark staring down the scope with a traitor on the other end. Outside of Magic this team has a surprising lack of stars at the PG position. Just guys who are solid, nothing more. This Pacific Division is the clear favorite going forward, I see no weakness in this team. They are the odds on favorites, Benard King on the IR would get significant playing time on the Eastern Division teams. This team will run, and run effectively. They are deep and efficient, a deadly combination. Dr.J isn't even starting and he doesn't deserve it.

I was wrong. The West is freaking good. Both the West teams would dismantle either East team without worry. Scoring is occurring efficiently and in large volumes. Guys like Elvin Hayes are left off because even the second and third worst teams in the division have a starter, and they are the two best players on the team in Swen Nater, and George Gervin. Nice to see a guy like Daryl Dawkins have a good season too, always believed in him. Old man Barry is having one of the best seasons of his already illustrious career finally breaking that 30 PPG mark and keeping up an efficient 47%. Swen's stats are a bit boosted by his GM's inability to surround him with talent but he's still earning a very deserved starting spot over Webster. Has anyone led the league in rebounds, and PPG in a season before, KG?
The Showdown
#2 The Central
vs.
#1 The Atlantic
Results: The Atlantic is far and away the weakest division. They do matchup very well with the Central. Their frontline led by the MVP Alvan Adams is every bit as good as the Central's the Nets/C's fused make a great team. They combine Moses and Alvan Adams, top tier rebounding and scoring, defense, and more defense. The problems start happening for the Atlantic when their frontline has to rest. Bob Lanier has a heroic effort off the bench to carry the second line, bullying Billy Paultz down low but it is to no avail. The depth of the Central is too much for the Atlantic with guys like Dandridge, Foots, and George McGinnis dominating the young, green Wesley Person, Grant, and Reeves.
Final Score: Central - 105 Atlantic - 95
#2 Pacific
vs.
#1 Midwest
This is the real championship. Quality players were left off these rosters. The Iceman vs. Dr. J, Swen Nater vs. Bill Walton, Magic vs. David Thompson, man these are some great match ups. This one will come down to the wire, depth oozes from these teams, dust off the bench and your twelfth man put up 25 PPG on a playoff team (or a 35 PPG scorer on the IR). The final difference is the scoring with home court advantage, four out of five Midwest starters average at least 30 PPG. The lowest of the starters FG% is a measly 47% by Rick Barry, Larry Kennon had a strong 52.4% from the field on 30.6 PPG. I thought the Pacific was a godly team, I was just comparing them to the very mundane East.
Final Score: Midwest 125 - Pacific - 123
Championship
#2 Central
vs.
#1 Midwest
Results: This is a Suprs vs. Heat finals, like watching Manny Ramirez snap the ball in the Superbowl, this is hard to watch. Richard Washington has one of his 4 of 12 games, Paul Westphal is screaming at Grant Hill to hold on to the ball. Hill is pulled after an incredible 5 TO's in 3 minutes played. McGinnis, Washington's replacement can't defend to save his life. John Drew who hasn't played SF since 3002 is torched by George Gervin, Truck Robinson, and Nate Williams, the coach keeps swapping them out but each one drives by Drew at will.
Final Score: Midwest - 142 Atlantic - 97
