Do the standing stay as is for Pacers/Raptors or is there a tiebreak that I don't know about that would give the Raptors the 1 seed?
Same with Braves/Pistons for 7/8

The Royals are more likely to face the Pacers in rd 2 because they're one of two possiblities, while your team wouldn't match up against them until the conference finals, where there are 3 other possible opponents |

Weird that I have better chances than the Royals... but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ pete's on the right track. let's look at the two teams side by side base expected winning percentage: 55.6% royals 56.4% braves the braves are a better team chance of getting out of the first round: 43% royals 36% braves but the raptors are more better than the heat than the braves are better than the royals chances of getting out of the second round: 12% royals 16% braves but the pacers are way better than the hawks chances of making the finals: 5.0% royals 5.6% braves but you've gotta face the (chance of facing the) pacers eventually too |
