So they're supposed to follow your lead because you're parroting something I already told you at the start of the day? This is such ridiculous bullshit. Don't let JHB get away with acting like the cop while giving you zero intel on his own. GBG will indeed be evil, but it doesn't prove JHB. If you blindly follow him based on that, you're falling right into a trap they've laid. I gave them good intel. You are the Balrog. Your narrative was at first that my trap was to save GBG and collude with GBG to trick the other people into limiting them to a 1/6 chance of finding our 3rd mafia. After Fecta, Druce, and Skrouse told us who they were, I immediately turned on GBG and listed him as one of my top mafia. Now GBG has been outed because of a lie and I'm voting for him because he's our best bet to continue the game. I applaud your ability to try and put all my actions in the spin zone. Everyone should continue to notice that I am providing you a path forward while Pete only seeks to strike down my credibility. That's textbook mafia (or in this case neutral evil who wins with mafia). Or you just figure the new guys were the most gullible, and you could get them on board with you in the driver's seat. Right where you want to be. |

I said the town should vote GBG because my investigation showed that he was mafia. You leapt to his defense by pretending to be my role and use your "investigation" to further discredit me. Your path forward involved trying to lead the town away from a mafia, then once you saw that the town wasn't 100% behind you, you decided to sacrifice the same mafia member I've already outed to make sure they fall in line for whatever the vote is tomorrow. Especially with the possibility of Gandalf coming back, you've got to make sure they're 100% behind you so you can keep the numbers in your favor. I didn't provide a path forward beyond voting for GBG because I'd rather trust what my investigation turns up for tomorrow coupled with a return of Gandalf should give us the info needed to finish the game. Once we know what roles were in the dead civ thread, we'll know who is lying among the remaining town. |

Grima Wormtongue: The deceiver. If he targets or is visited by Aragorn at night, Aragorn will be told a lie (if he is targeted, he will show up as a vanilla member of the Fellowship. If he targets Aragorn at night, Aragorn's investigation will come back with bad information)
If Grima visits Pete, Pete is told a lie on his investigation.

If Grima targeted me w/ his night move, the intel i got would've been incorrect. So if GBG was town and I investigated him, it would show up as mafia. This is clearly not the case though, as you and GBG have been as transparent as possible in acting first to defend him and then to sacrifice him. |

in your scenario from the FAQ, it's talking about if Grima targets person A and Aragorn targets person A. That wouldn't mess w/ the results because Grima wasn't targeting Aragorn

The way I see it is that GBG is mafia, him outing himself as Merry is a pretty big tell. Now, this could be an amazing ruse between JHB and GBG and if it is then hats off to them, but thats pretty good evidence that GBG is mafia IMO.
