1. Omar Little - LR #1



He's #1 every update but it's still pretty close. He's got the best blend of offense and defense, and special teams wins championships.

2. Archie Miller - LR #6



Love the defense and handles. Unfortunately Archie's in that limbo between having a truly sublime Jump Shot and being able to upgrade it (projected at 89), plus Handling grows very quickly for guards of either persuasion. Reminds me of a young Dejuan Wagner. If Fason ever suckers me into trading FOR another first rounder, jhb, you know what offer is coming in three years.

3. Estaban Weaver - LR #8



Has got some real games under his belt now. He's ahead of the top two in rebounding but he's playing SG so that's probably a mirage (applies to steals to a lesser extent too). Still, if 30 games is a good sample size (it's not) billy has a real stud here.

4. Eric Chenowith- LR #9



King Baltimore Crabs has nudged up the efficiency just north of big man league average and has maintained the WHITE ice gap between himself and all others for d/r numbers. You can't spell E Wing without E Ric.

5. Myron Random - LR #10



Is this a Wire guy? I didn't watch the Wire. 3P% should come down but even then he'll be a plus efficiency guy with great d/r numbers and judging by his volume should take multiple Inside Scoring camps. Lesser ladders would make a biggest hurricane on record joke here. Ts and Ps to America's wang.

6. Karim Shabazz- LR #5



Doesn't give you the volume of E-Che Guevara but when has a title team ever had a non Knicks min bid big man. Never.

7. Elton Tyler- LR unranked



Can we get tyler 3001 3051 back to GM the Bulls? Tyler has a strong whiff of young Amar'e here. He hits the same home run TCs he'll be a real force to reckon with next year in Jerusalem. A mekhaye khlebn.

8. Avon Barksdale - LR #2



Could probably be higher given that he's not a chump big man. Outside grade suggests he has slightly above average efficiency, and should be able to take a Jump Shot camp once he no longer has Stratford-upon. #ShakeSpear

9. Tang Hamilton - LR unranked



A poor man's Myron Random with better ball boarding. Was electric in summer league and both had horrible preseasons. What's the lesson? What is the takeaway?

10. Slim Charles- LR #3



The Slender Man still looks pretty good as a young Stephon Templeton type. Good blocks and boards, scores at an above average but not quite perimeter level. Logically he'll play out his Jazzer deal, sign with an absentee GM on the min, ignore a max, sign for the min post-TC, bring the most storied and historic franchise of all time to the Finals but come up just short, and play alongside the greatest singer-songwriter of all time.

1. Omar Little - LR #1



The easy choice. Dominated preseason. Best scorer. Best defense. ~100 Jump Shot. Handling needs work, should grow very easily. Like they say on the show: "He's too much to deal with almost. And in the end he's completely alone with it all." (The championship.)

2. Dean Oliver - LR unranked



The top three non-Omar guards all score at about the same level with elite jump shots, but Dean "Batman Presented by Bob" "Kane" Oliver gives you sublime handles and quality d/r, making him the clear choice for the Robin to Omar's Walter White.

3. Eric Chenowith- LR #4



Reminds me a lot of a young Patrick Ewing. Slap a Jump Shot SC and whatever he can take in Inside grade and he should be a stud for decades.

.

4. Archie Miller - LR #2



I went back and forth with these two, as one might for two guys who each finished with .463 FG%s. They both have strengths in untraditional areas, and in the end I decided you can't go wrong with shot blocks.

.

5. Estaban Weaver - LR #3



Not that this guy's a bum or anything. Love the ball boards, though they and the steals will dip if he ever plays PG. I'd be happy with either one, call 'em 4A and 4B, but if you're gonna give me a choice the blocks are always gonna win.

.

6. Myron Random - LR #5



Outside grade says Myron's scoring is slightly worse than it looks, so there's a pretty big gap between him and "The Dream" Weaver. Needs growth across the board to be special, but investment alone should make him playable.

.

7. Slim Charles- LR #10



Slim "Skinny Pete" Charles is really living up to his young Steph Templeton billing. The Spread Sheet has him pegged at 19 Three Point Shot but he took none, which probably means his FT% is gonna take an apparent leap next season. Already a quality two-way big, could become elite if that happens.

.

8. Elton Tyler- LR #7



The highest ceiling of any prospect in the class. The John []_[] Brand is putting up slightly plus scoring for a perimeter player from the center position, but his blocks and boards are both unplayably low right now, and he's got a little turnover issue too. Could be Dirk/Diogu esque, but even in the worst case will be way ahead of the JBCs of the world.

9. Karim Shabazz- LR #6



Shows how deep this class is that an elite d/r big is all the way down here, but he is what he is at this point. He'll probably get a bit better rebounding, but he doesn't have anywhere else to really grow.

.

10. Tang Hamilton - LR #9



Shows how this class is nine deep. Tang is a poor man's Myron Random. His %s aren't as bad as they look, but the Jump Shot is far from elite. Seems destined for the St. Louis Shuffle (wing traded away from and eventually back to the Hawks) (the Hawks play in St. Louis) (that's the joke).

Snoop Pearson - an average scorer, but if snoop is your centerpiece, you have to ask yourself, what are we building, a robot?
Marlo Stanfeld - eyepopping 3P% belied by a B Outside grade, is poor on offense and defense. great on the backboards though, so if the NBA ever institutes special teams he should have a long career
Avon Barksdale - slightly below average at everything, which isn't the worst place to start
Chris Burgess - defends like Elton Tyler, shoots like Karim Shabazz. it's not fair. there was time now, Meredith. and he'll need it
Casey Calvary - has good handles. he'll need them carrying the cross to Gulguthra, because his many other flaws deserve to be burned at the stake
Brindley Wright - 0 blocks in 500 MP, less than 1 pt/tsa, >2 tov per 36, more like Brain'tley Wwrong

if you put up 90% of a guys stats and are 3-5 years younger you should be ranked higher as it's more impressive -- age and more TC opportunities not being in your rookie ladder formula is disappointing

*chance of more under-25 TCs should definitely be weighted into this
