Welcome back to the Big Board. This is the first year where I vehemently disagree with some of the rankings on my own big board just off-hand, I think it may have to do with how creatively some of these prospects are being built. Kudos to DM Heebs and Commish 20s for mixing it up.
For example, I think this class is clearly Randy Moss, Jim Thorpe, Tony Gonzalez, and then everyone else in the distance. Thorpe did not rate as well as expected on the Big Board but he has grades that should grow well and produce over time with B C+ scoring as well as C+ rebounding for a guard.
I do not think Berggren will be as good as his grade, but the formula loves shooting big men who don't absolutely blow on defense, so that's why he makes an appearance on the top 5. Similarly, Dulkys wouldn't normally rate this high in a class but there is not as many A potential players in the lottery group of prospects as normal, in my opinion.
I think you'll see that Bradley Bleal and John Stockston are underrated because the math can't adequately equate for their profile write-ups. I think you may also see Barry Sanders end up being much higher than his rating here. The formula penalizes him for having one elite skill and a mediocre complimentary set of grades, but I think with inside scoring that high, he should at least be an efficient, high-scoring guard at worst. That type of player can always find a spot on a team.
Finally, one player that I think will be a steal is Too Tall Jones. Generally, D/R bigs aren't well represented by the Big Board Formula, but Too Tall got a late lottery/mid-first grade and should be the best D/R player to come out of this class.
Without further ado:
