Ronald Reagan is one of the more interesting stories in this class. He began his career as an actor after graduating high school, and had some moderate success. However, during the shooting for Teen Wolf 2: This Time With More Basketball, he discovered both an astounding natural talent and an equally great love of the game. He decided to enroll at UC-Santa Cruz, where he rewrote the record books during his one season before declaring for the pros. He modeled his offensive game after Joe "Jelly Bean" Bryant, becoming a volume shooter who can get it done both at the rim and beyond the arc. Perhaps more impressively, Reagan is firmly committed to defense, expending all available resources on that end of the court and making him one of the better two-way players available. He's got tremendous leaping ability, creating highlight plays on a nightly basis.
Some wonder whether his gaudy stats are a product of going against weak competition, while others argue that his individual success rarely trickled down to the rest of his teammates. And although he was never implicated, many believe he was involved in a gun trafficking case that resulted in several teammates getting expelled.
Scouts are excited about seeing him at the highest level, and while he's advanced in age, some think his best is still yet to come.
