preseason o/oo. 1. Dwayne Elizondo Mountain Dew Herbert CamachoBest scoring efficiency (of all players, not just bigs), best shot blocking, second best rebounding, solid handling. Other than that, he stinks. . 2. Franklin D. Roosevelt Plus efficiency, great handles, sublime jump shot, decent defender. The next three are all pretty close together, I went with PG eligibility as the tiebreaker. . 3. Thomas Jefferson Tommy Js lived up to the name with really nice Outside attributes. You'd like to see more rebounding from the small forward position but he's SG eligible and that's probably where he'll freeload off the unpaid labor of his black teammates make his money down the line. . 4. Rory Lavs Solid across the board with an elite Jump Shot, could contribute to any team right now. Highest floor of any player. . 5. Theodore Roosevelt Now we've got some projects. Teddy right now looks like a rough (rider) copy of Stephon Templeton, with standard growth he could blossom into a two-way big but if he gets caught up rough riding (oops i already used that one) bull mooses and slacks off on gym time he'll end up as a six of all trades, jack of none, master of heck none. . 6. Abraham LincolnYou love the scoring and the Jump Shot, but can we please get some rebounds? Honestly, Abe's getting outrebounded by "Wooden" Woodrow Wilson over here, and if you want to see him block shots you better keep your eyes peeled. Hey! Blink and you'll miss it. . 7. Black Bush Similar story with Black Bush, who unfortunately will receive 0 SC/RCs playing for the NuperYawnics. Nu may work for metal(?) but when it comes to tending the growth of sim league players the Bizkit just leaves you Limp. . 8. William Howard TaftThe Big Bathtub is closest of the three to giving you credible d/r numbers, but he still needs work there, and his scoring volume/efficiency is dangerously close to the Tristan Thompson zone. . 9. Andrew Jackson Good d/r wing. . 10. Dwight D. Eisenhower Really had to scrape to find a number ten. Eisenhower's outside attributes look backwards, but he's got decent handles and rebounding for a point guard. We'll see.

day 45 update. 1. Rory Lavs - LR #4Kina Grannis. Taylor Swift. These brave pioneers blazed the trail for all woman players of the female persuasion, braving tribulations ranging from hostile legal systems on All-Star tours of the Southeast Pacific to the worst lead single off an album of all time don't at me user Tim Pig, and their hard work and sacrifices have finally paid off. Rory is a superstar. Elite jump shot, plus rebounder, plus handles, solid defender. The only concern you have going forward is whether she can stay focused on basketball in notorious nightlife hot spot Salt Lake City. You hope spending a year in the gaudy megacity South Bend during college and surviving the temptations of the modern Babel Sodom and Gomorrah steeled her to those temptations, but you just never know. You just never know. . 2. Thomas Jefferson - LR #3Handles and defense got worse, also doesn't have quite as good of a jumper, also he's a racist. . 3. Dwayne Elizondo Mountain Dew Herbert Camacho- LR #1Went from a young Dirk to a young Julius Randle, but they're both championship caliber Knicks greats so he's still in good shape. Kept his very solid d/r base. Should be a star for years to come. . 4. Theodore Roosevelt - LR #5"Always Ready Teddy" "Ted" "Alvin, Simon" Theodore Roosevelt slipped very slightly on defense which is a disproportionate concern given how he started the War of American Aggression (that's what they call it in Spain, look it up) and how low his blocks were to start, but his scoring is almost to perimeter player levels which keeps him very interesting. . 5. Abraham Lincoln- LR #6Speaking of Aggressors, "Baberaham" "Abe the Babe" Lincoln makes Ted Roosevelt look like William Howard Taft but the rest of this class is some serious schlamole so for now he stays up. . 6. Jed Bartlett - LR unrankedJed "the Red" Bartlett for is the President, and his numbers in limited time are real nice. You have to ask, where was this in preseason? Where is the long form health certificate? Where is Rob Lowe? We've got more questions than answers at this point. . 7. Martin Van Buren - LR unrankedSame deal. Even in sim league Marty is an afterthought, but with a nickname like "The Far From Flying Dutchman" what did you expect. . 8. William Henry Harrison- LR unrankedLooks so good he has the Portlandians screaming "whhhhhhhhhhhhhh" "whhhhhhhhhhhhh" get it his initials are WHH and that doesn't actually make a noise you get it do you get it. He was so bad in preseason that I'm not buying it yet. . 9. Gerald Ford- LR unrankedFormer President Gerald Ford shoots too greedily and too weak, but he's got the best d/r numbers so he gets a spot for now. . 10. Dwight D. Eisenhower - LR #10The class is pretty weak. "Double D" "Eisenhower, I Hardly Know Her" stays up from his slick preseason, nobody's buying the 52% from three point land though. . stats pts/tsa blk/36 ast:tov reb/36 pts/36 JSH 3SH xp/t mp Player 1.143 1.18 1.27 9.22 28.25 96.80 64.20 1.133 1138 Rory Lavs SF 1.084 0.41 0.87 8.31 34.15 87.84 73.16 1.111 842 Thomas Jefferson SF 0.978 2.81 1.25 11.93 13.05 68.86 0.14 0.978 1056 Dwayne Elizondo Mountain Dew Herbert Camacho C 1.055 1.31 0.88 11.92 16.69 78.41 12.59 1.055 1178 Theodore Roosevelt PF 1.071 0.20 2.25 9.63 27.89 91.33 -0.33 1.071 1243 Abraham Lincoln C 1.147 0.36 2.50 7.13 16.75 84.18 51.82 1.169 303 Jed Bartlett SG 1.086 0.75 2.38 5.75 21.25 78.89 67.11 1.087 403 Martin Van Buren PG 1.100 2.04 0.70 12.39 14.43 85.77 5.23 1.100 667 William Henry Harrison C 0.860 3.13 1.20 13.24 14.45 44.75 11.25 0.860 777 Gerald Ford C 1.095 0.00 2.90 5.20 26.00 91.96 54.04 1.011 216 Dwight D. day 75 update . 1. Rory Lavs - LR #1This Irish fighter has been throwing Jazz hands at all the competition. Easy #1 . 2. Thomas Jefferson - LR #2Reminds me of a young Sergey Karasev. Loves the long ball, hates the American federal government, is racist against black people. #facts . 3. George Washington - LR unrankedThe Destroyer of Villages is branching out to destroy pick and rolls and jumpers, AND he's scoring just well enough to make it count. His handles are more than good enough to slot in at point guard where his d/r will be truly elite, and with the usual SC/RCs we'll have a real father of a franchise on our hands. Unfortunately he plays for the Compultics, so. . 4. Martin Van Buren - LR #7Marty is the last demonstrably well rounded perimeter guy in the class. Is right on the edge of being Jump Shot SC eligible, which is almost the worst place to be, but still, solid scorer, solid defender. . 5. Dwayne Elizondo Mountain Dew Herbert Camacho- LR #3He's keeping up the not quite good enough scoring and the not quite good enough d/r, that's a base I think he can really grow from. Or he gets JBC TCs and ends up a pale shadow of the great Steph Templeton. . 6. Gerald Ford- LR #9Gerry is putting up elite d/r numbers already, love the handles, scoring is always gonna be too high and too poor. Will probably get maxed before being traded for a golden Knicks 2nd round ticket. That's just how James "Do it Max Bigs" Dolan rolls. . 7. John Quincy Adams - LR unrankedOutside grade says the efficiency should be great, but low volume guys with no preseason get taken with a grain of salt no matter who their daddy is. . 8. Abraham Lincoln- LR #5Dropped to just below perimeter level scoring, and if you're blocking 0.1 per 36 I'm gonna need a lot more on the offensive end, babe. . 9. William Howard Taft- LR unrankedHas a lot further to go than Big Chevrolet on the d/r side, but his scoring while still poor is a lot closer to mediocre. And that's all you really need from a big! . 10. Jed Bartlett - LR #6I lost Jheodore's png but his stats are weak and Taft is well-fed enough to span two anyway. He's scoring okay. What do you want from me, this is a rookie ladder, not an Oxy Clean commercial. . stats pts/tsa blk/36 ast:tov reb/36 pts/36 JSH 3SH xp/t mp Player 1.127 1.02 1.29 9.15 28.58 94.72 66.28 1.116 1912 Rory Lavs SF 1.070 0.31 0.78 8.40 34.03 86.97 74.03 1.098 1492 Thomas Jefferson SF 1.065 0.55 2.33 6.05 20.61 80.73 65.27 1.074 432 Martin Van Buren PG 1.036 1.68 3.69 7.39 19.36 91.37 34.63 1.040 2002 George Washington PG 0.975 2.61 1.71 12.55 13.26 70.95 -1.95 0.975 1550 Dwayne Elizondo Mountain Dew Herbert Camacho C 0.855 3.58 1.10 12.99 13.71 53.34 2.66 0.855 1480 Gerald Ford C 1.085 0.39 0.83 7.35 12.39 69.23 43.77 1.118 465 John Quincy Adams SG 1.049 0.10 2.00 10.17 27.32 92.09 -1.09 1.048 1949 Abraham Lincoln C 0.902 2.59 0.59 11.93 13.38 39.71 6.29 0.902 1770 William Howard Taft C 1.071 0.36 2.00 6.12 15.84 85.74 50.26 1.064 490 Jed Bartlett SG 1.003 0.82 3.33 4.09 14.32 36.94 76.06 1.047 352 Al Favre PG 1.000 0.85 1.17 7.62 13.98 90.19 35.81 0.999 1505 Andrew Jackson SG 1.019 0.88 1.22 6.96 16.45 85.98 50.02 1.004 1532 Barack Obama SG 1.106 1.53 1.00 13.02 12.64 110.63 -19.63 1.106 66 Benjamin Harrison C 1.006 0.24 5.20 5.25 25.75 82.68 53.32 1.035 1480 Bill Clinton PG 0.934 0.21 0.79 8.63 20.24 68.10 22.90 0.934 1453 Black Bush PF 1.333 0.00 #DIV/0! 0.00 72.00 #DIV/0! #DIV/0! 1.333 2 Calvin Coolidge PG 0.783 2.79 0.62 10.42 3.64 4.81 1.19 0.783 1455 Donald Trump C 1.011 0.25 2.44 4.82 22.31 95.27 50.73 1.021 611 Dwight D. eric Are JSH and 3SH an estimate of what their Jump Shot and 3-Point Shot ratings are? yes the Jump Shot is very reliable, it's based entirely on FT% the Three Shot is taken from that and Outside Grade, which obviously has a range in it so is not as reliable obviously if you camp a guy in either one after the season starts (strictly after a player gets their first playing time) that muddies it too

how is taft ranked higher than monroe Taft scored well enough in preseason that I think he's more like a .92 pts/tsa guy, which is close enough that he can become an average big man scorer. Monroe's volume is low enough to be a pure d/r guy, but his blocks have too far to go to write him in in permanent ink.

day 99 update. 1. Rory Lavs - LR #1Scoring efficiency and blocks actually ticked up slightly. Affirmative wombtion strikes again. . 2. Thomas Jefferson - LR #2The gap was already pretty wide between "Doubting" Thomas and the #1 spot, and his downturn doesn't help, but he holds onto #2 because... . 3. George Washington - LR #3"Curious" George experiments with the marihuana reefer and sees his efficiency dip. The d/r from a guard remains phenomenal though so unless he really "chops down the cherry tree" for the rest of the season it's hard to see him dropping any rungs. . 4. Martin Van Buren - LR #4Remains a well rounded player, very high floor. Scouts worry that the media megalopolis of Cincinnati will dull his focus by appearing on a sitcom for five years, but that's Nether here nor there, Kennesaw Mountain Landis HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA . 5. Gerald Ford- LR #6Gerry springs up a rung, the d/r numbers are just too potent, and the foul taste of his negative scoring is (partially) balanced by his sublime handles. Is he Dean Cain? No. Is he Richard Nixon? No. But you're talking about a player who can easily be top ten in blocks and boards, and there's only 3 players who can say that right now. . 6. Dwayne Elizondo Mountain Dew Herbert Camacho- LR #5Blocks and efficiency continue to slip, but he's still the last guy in the class to have shown true star potential. . 7. Jed Bartlett - LR #10He's got three NBA ready skills: he can score, he can score, and oh mama can he score. Perfect fit for the flash and dazzle bright lights of big city San Antonio. The liberal Texas media doesn't want you to hear about the grit and grind of defense, hustle, heart, blue collar, lunchpail, fundamentals winning championships, but hey, a West Winger is never happier than when they can rely on underpaid immigrants to do the dirty work, whether it's la Marquese du Chriss, Mikki "Roger" Moore, or Ed Jones (born Eduards Jasikevičius). Some League of Nations. . 8. Millard Fillmore - LR unrankedShaking it up with some new blood. MillFill is a real MFer on the defensive end. Unfortunately he can't hit a foul shot in an empty gym, but you know what they say in Detroit when you send them a trade offer. . 9. Harry Truman - LR unranked"Hammering Hank" Harry is living on the outside. With such low volume we have to be cautious about the efficiency, but better low high than high low Bikini Atoll you know what I'm saying. . 10. Bill Clinton - LR unrankedSlick "Slick Rick" Willy was a poor scorer in preseason and only a middling one so far in the regular, but he's got probably the best handles in the class. Throw in the new Jackie Christie and the sky's the limit. The more likely outcome is a career backup, but the sky is still technically the limit. . stats pts/tsa blk/36 ast:tov reb/36 pts/36 JSH 3SH xp/t mp Player 1.132 1.13 1.13 8.69 28.13 94.76 66.24 1.124 2499 Rory Lavs SF 1.042 0.31 0.87 8.74 34.15 84.40 76.60 1.082 2170 Thomas Jefferson SF 1.012 1.70 3.83 7.35 19.23 91.65 34.35 1.017 2636 George Washington PG 1.065 0.55 2.33 6.05 20.61 80.73 65.27 1.074 432 Martin Van Buren PG 0.858 3.70 1.10 13.11 14.07 51.90 4.10 0.858 2084 Gerald Ford C 0.970 2.43 2.00 12.50 13.20 75.44 -6.44 0.970 2177 Dwayne Elizondo Mountain Dew Herbert Camacho C 1.070 0.00 1.67 6.04 16.03 89.23 46.77 1.084 904 Jed Bartlett SG 1.009 1.74 0.67 8.13 11.90 53.49 15.51 1.009 372 Millard Fillmore SF 1.163 0.20 2.75 7.32 9.97 84.18 110.82 1.158 443 Harry Truman SF 1.016 0.24 4.93 5.19 25.97 80.04 55.96 1.037 2105 Bill Clinton PG 1.036 0.10 1.83 10.10 26.50 93.65 -2.65 1.037 2484 Abraham Lincoln C 1.028 0.45 4.50 4.50 14.85 36.94 76.06 1.072 400 Al Favre PG 1.001 1.02 1.24 7.40 14.08 91.84 34.16 1.008 1810 Andrew Jackson SG 1.028 0.78 1.28 7.00 17.00 84.02 51.98 1.010 2106 Barack Obama SG 1.106 1.53 1.00 13.02 12.64 110.63 -19.63 1.106 66 Benjamin Harrison C 0.944 0.21 0.86 8.44 19.87 71.41 19.59 0.944 2089 Black Bush PF 1.333 0.00 #DIV/0! 0.00 72.00 #DIV/0! #DIV/0! 1.333 2 Calvin Coolidge PG 0.777 3.33 0.64 10.60 3.82 1.66 4.34 0.777 2015 Donald Trump C 1.011 0.25 2.44 4.82 22.31 95.27 50.73 1.021 611 Dwight D. day 120. 1. Rory Lavs - LR #1A clear superstar and thank god the last blurb I have to write about a GM's child. . 2. Thomas Jefferson - LR #2He can score and rebound. Handles need sewing up and the defense could be more impressive. . 3. George Washington - LR #3We've been wondering how Beantown will get from ancient superstar Jason BCE Williams to the future, and it looks like they've found The Bridge starring Demián Bichir and Diane Kruger. Georgie needs a lot of work on the offensive end, but he's giving you the handles, he's giving you the jump shot, and the defense sets him apart from the field. . 4. Gerald Ford- LR #5Gerry's scoring keeps getting worse but I'm a believer in the Big Camaro. The d/r numbers are too elite to ignore, and he's got solid handles on top of it. Really interested to see what kind of investments he gets from the Lakers GM ohhhhhh right. . 5. Martin Van Buren - LR #4Can score and rebound, middling defender at the premier PG position. Could give The Big Quarter a run for his money down the line as the best PG in class but Washington's defensive edge is probably too high to overcome even if the Notorious MVB becomes an elite scorer. . 6. Dwayne Elizondo Mountain Dew Herbert Camacho- LR #6D-Eli-Mou-Dew-Her-Cam kicked his scoring up a notch to close the season. Sublime handles, plus rebounding, a little luck in TC and his blocks will hit 3+ on their own. Has a higher ceiling than General Motors but needs some real TLC to reach it. . 7. Millard Fillmore - LR #8Really comes down to how low his Three Point attribute is. If he never starts taking threes he'll be hard pressed to become anything more than an average scorer, but if his already superb defense grows to elite levels maybe that's enough. . 8. Harry Truman - LR #9Unlike Alredick this small sample phenom is giving you hardly any volume, but in ten times the minutes played. 55% from three and 44% from two is unusual, to put it mildly, and the defense simply isn't there, but I'd love to see what he does with +16 to Inside. And what the h3ck, maybe I'll sign him to the min in a few years and do just that. Who's gonna stop me, those fat cats down in Washington? Of whom Truman is one? I thought not. . 9. Jed Bartlett - LR #7He's probably an above average scorer with decent d/r numbers. I wouldn't be surprised to see him become a near All-NBA player (i.e. Lonzo Ball caliber) or wash out of the league in four years. . 10. Grover Cleveland - LR unrankedTaking preseason into account he's probably a league average scorer, poor rebounder, handles aren't terrible but need work. Could be a lot worse. . rest of lotto Barack Obama - okay d/r numbers but the scoring is a mess John Adams - carbon copy of Obama, just as in real life Abraham Lincoln - like a young Kaminsky Bill Clinton - flirted with the ladder all year and got his butt impeached for it, and deservedly so. should grow into a solid backup (TO HIS WIFE) Theodore Roosevelt - Newark. LaGuardia. no wait i mean Alvin. Simon. a slightly less extreme Baberaham, still trash Ronny Reagan - spent too much time raising taxes and not enough raising iron. mediocre scoring volume and efficiency, elite jumper though John F. Kennedy - nice defense and handling. has a real problem with shooting Richard Nixon - played 11 minutes . stats pts/tsa blk/36 ast:tov reb/36 pts/36 JSH 3SH xp/t mp Player 1.131 1.02 1.20 8.67 28.56 94.31 66.69 1.129 2895 Rory Lavs SF 1.060 0.42 1.00 8.69 34.33 86.50 74.50 1.093 2821 Thomas Jefferson SF 0.995 1.63 3.38 7.18 18.86 89.83 36.17 1.007 3083 George Washington PG 0.849 3.90 1.00 13.10 13.81 51.06 4.94 0.849 2501 Gerald Ford C 1.065 0.55 2.33 6.05 20.61 80.73 65.27 1.074 432 Martin Van Buren PG 0.993 2.43 1.71 12.50 13.66 74.13 -5.13 0.993 2550 Dwayne Elizondo Mountain Dew Herbert Camacho C 1.022 2.00 0.67 7.71 12.57 52.33 16.67 1.022 542 Millard Fillmore SF 1.206 0.20 2.00 7.80 9.80 89.47 105.53 1.123 756 Harry Truman SF 1.082 0.00 1.67 6.14 16.19 88.38 47.62 1.072 1058 Jed Bartlett SG 1.100 0.00 2.58 3.62 22.36 83.62 62.38 1.069 548 Grover Cleveland PG 1.052 0.20 1.89 10.17 26.93 94.37 -3.37 1.052 2960 Abraham Lincoln C 1.000 0.47 4.50 4.21 14.49 31.27 81.73 1.038 431 Al Favre PG 0.986 1.01 1.24 7.34 13.82 92.39 33.61 1.001 2050 Andrew Jackson SG 1.007 0.79 1.33 7.63 16.49 79.79 66.21 1.010 2632 Barack Obama SG 1.215 2.09 1.00 13.04 14.09 110.63 -19.63 1.215 76 Benjamin Harrison C 1.023 0.24 5.00 5.18 26.00 81.12 54.88 1.035 2509 Bill Clinton PG 0.951 0.11 0.80 8.39 20.39 72.42 18.58 0.951 2780 Black Bush PF 1.333 0.00 #DIV/0! 0.00 72.00 #DIV/0! #DIV/0! 1.333 2 Calvin Coolidge PG 0.802 3.42 0.53 10.86 4.03 10.29 -4.29 0.802 2419 Donald Trump C 0.991 0.26 2.53 4.96 21.65 98.27 62.73 1.027 759 Dwight D.
