Delap Throws PG 5'11" 205 lbs 22 Florida State B- B+ B- C- C B With a game honed in driveways and carpeted gyms, Delap never had the height or leaping ability to develop an inside game. However, his range is almost limitless. Offensively he can control tempo with the best of them, playing in any pace. His game lacks a lot of creativity; it's either long-range or drive and kick. He is adept at finishing and passing either hand and won't turn the ball over a ton... but when he moves inside he isn't looking for his own shot and avoids contact at all costs. Despite a very high career 3pt %, his FT% has hovered around 50% throughout his high school, church league, and collegiate career. Allergic to the midrange. On the defensive end of the court he won't get any blocks, unless matched up against a midget PG. His hands are fast though and will strip opponents as they drive and in/around the post. His defensive rebounding is decent, his offensive rebounding is almost non-existent. He is fairly close to a finished product, though getting into a real strength program could help him on the defensive side of the ball and in finishing through contact... but that won't matter so much if he still can't shoot free throws.
